How will people know if they haven’t been chosen as a beta tester? Is there a date that, if we haven’t heard anything by, we will know it was a “no”? I know you won’t be able to respond to every one who applied, so a cut-off date would be good.

We will have people test various versions of the game all the way until we officially release it. That means some people may get an email from us the week before it’s available, asking to give the game one last run through before the public gets it.

Ivan – how could you say that? I’ve played every Spiderweb game (and beta-tested 3 of them). Eschalon is great…but Spiderweb is famous!

Maybe Ivan feels that Spiderweb has for too long stolen the “limelight” from Indie RPG games.

Spiderweb is one of the best. I’m actually playing Avernum 6 right now and it is great. But I would drop it in a heart beat if Eschalon Book II came out today.

Man!, it’s been a while since I checked this website. Heck, we’ve had a kid while waiting! Ha. Won’t have a ton of free time anymore, but don’t worry, I’ll still be buying the game when it comes out! Very excited for it. And I’ve played all the Spiderweb games. I’ve gotten enjoyment out of Basilisk and Spiderweb alike and I look forward to doing so in the future. It’s not like I need to pick a team and buy season tickets! I’m a die-hard RPG fan, for Pete’s sake! Basilisk is doing a great job with the Eschalon series!
