Re: Semi-official bug tracking thread (SPOILERS)

The game has crashed on me 4 times while moving on maps (different maps each time). The only thing I can think of that is common to all 4 crashes is that each time I was moving across the map with the mouse key held down. My machine is a Mac laptop running OS 10.6.8. Added info: The game just crashe...

Re: Stuck - looking for a clue

1.Blackened Bone requires to complete a simple fetch quest to the rangers glenn 2.I`ve found 3 Seals of Wisdom before unlocking Old Moonrise or passing the river. Also, I`ve been able to buy at least 2 in the shop. 3.The book has 2 scripted locations. I`ve also been able to buy one in the shop, bef...

Re: Stuck - looking for a clue

neither the BOOK nor the sigils are random. they are in same place every time, and I found them just by looting every container on every map. I obsessively explore every nook and cranny. when I got that quest for baptism of fire, I already had the ring. when I needed the book, was on fast mode and ...

Re: Stuck - looking for a clue

There are two fixed locations for the book in Old Moonrise and Mirkland. You can sometimes by it in Moonrise and find it as a random treasure. The first time I found it, read it, and sold it before realizing it was part of the puzzle. Then I had to hunt for an old save game to figure out the clue. ...

Re: Stuck - looking for a clue

3. The Meaning of the Note - from what I can tell looking at other boards, I need a book to complete this quest that is nowhere to be found. If true, this is bad design - anything that is needed to complete a question should not be a random appearance item - it should always be available. This book...

Re: Stuck - looking for a clue

You need to find a "Sigil of Fire". Want a general hint? Have you explored every location west of Rockhammer? I think so. There are some areas of Moonrise I cannot get into like part of the Temple, and the locked door in one of the stores that I can't get into without committing a crime a...

Stuck - looking for a clue

I don't want any spoilers - I just want a hint or a clue as to how to proceed. At the moment, I have explored all I can. If I go to the east I get slaughtered by Goblins - so I'm probably not high enough level to go through that area yet. If I try to go north over the river, I get slaughtered by tho...

Re: Where is the general.cfg file?

Well, SpottedShroom thanks for that. It tells me what I needed to know: that the 3 keys that I need to map to adjust for handedness - ESC, Tab and Shift, cannot be mapped.

When will software companies learn that NOT EVERYONE IS RIGHT-HANDED????????????

Re: Where is the general.cfg file?

Ok, I found the EB2 version of the file as per the previous poster. Thank you. However, it's not very helpful. It doesn't list all of the keys and the key assignments so that I have no way to know what to put in the EB3 version in order to move things from a right-handed person's perspective to a le...

Re: Where is the general.cfg file?

No. It's not in the directory with the saved files. I've looked there.

Where is the general.cfg file?

I recently downloaded the demo and I've been playing it. I am considering purchasing the full game. But, I was reading in the Manual that came with the demo that: Advanced Users: Many of the game's keyboard commands can be re-configured by altering the general.cfg file in the game's installation fol...

Re: Already having issues

Not entirely sure but it looks like some kind of driver corruption or other graphic problem. When the startup screen comes up, it's all screwy with pieces of text all over, buttons missing, and I can't do anything except close the window and exit. Ok, I've actually seen this one in Linux, running B...
