Re: Bought the game, but it crashes ...

I'm an Arch user too and have not encountered any problems in that particular dungeon. Assuming you launch the game from a terminal, does it have an error message once it crashes?

Re: What type of Quests?

Here's a couple small ideas: 1. Quests that are started by rumors or hints picked up in conversations. Since this game encourages exploration, it might be nice to have a randomly generated quest for the "Widget of Awesomeness" that begins with an overheard conversation, a scrap of a map or...

I've been to the inn in Blackwater and checked in under an assumed name. I've visited a vault and read a letter from someone n...

Build-a-Rogue

Without a doubt my favorite class to play is the Rogue class. I have not run one in Eschalon as yet wanting to get a feel for the game and the mechanics of how things work. Now it is time to build a Rogue and go hide in the dark. So I am soliciting the input of those of you who have spent a deal of ...

As I stepped in, I got a message speaking of the grisly sight of a cauldron cooking humans and amid this horro...

Another Thank You thread

Thank you very much to the developers of this game. It is great to see people who are willing to support Linux gamers. I bought the game yesterday after playing the demo for a few days. This game reminds me much of the DOS days of Ultima and making boot discs to free that critical RAM. I am greatly ...
