Poison...Oh how I hate thee!

;) Well after a long hiatus I'm back to Eschalon, rolled a new toon (Fighter, Str/Dex/Con w/low magic)...only lvl 3 atm and trying to make my way to get the key from the Caretaker by clearing out the basement area of the mortuary. I can handle the normal salamander's unless I get cornered by 2 or 3....

I went with option 1. I like the current engine. There are many little things to improve, of course, but this forum is full of suggestions so I won't go into them here. It has a nostalgic feel I enjoyed and it looks good. A Wiz8-style engine could be great, but I suggest getting a bit more mileage ...
