Re: Spiderweb Software's Queen's Wish: The Conqueror

I played a bit through the opening as well. Fun. Interesting new additions to the mechanics, especially with building shops and stuff. I'll be able to say more when I have time to play more (sometime when I don't have to work so much overtime or have so many projects on the house).

Here's where one should link to the Plague scene from Monty Python. ;-)

Re: Just saying hi

I suspect that there are quite a few regulars who are peeking in fairly often. Personally, I really enjoy news from BW about the new game. I check in at least a couple times a week to see if new folks have come around asking for help, or if BW has some new stuff to show us, or if folks are just dro...

Re: Who wants a sneak peak at TRC?

The nice thing about growing up with CGA graphics is that I don't have to worry about not being able to enjoy a game because of graphics :) Someone was talking about the original DOS Pool of Radiance the other day and now I'm thinking about replaying it. Some of us remember being killed by a grue i...

Re: (Book I Mod) RD's Book I Mod

Wow, it's been a while since I've played through this mod, but as I recall the widgets you find in the secured area activate a series of machines that open the one-way exit. I seem to recall there being three widgets, but that may be a false memory.

I'm thinking you may still come out with TRC before the Mac or Linux versions of Bard's Tale IV come out. ;-)

Have a great holiday and we're all looking forward to what you can do in 2019.

Yes. People must be allowed to fail in their own way. ;-) As long as he's having fun, though, he's not really failing.

Re: Anyway out of the last dungeon tulashon?

He cannot win without the Crux, but he should be able to walk back out of Talushorn. You don't get trapped inside. It's not a one-way decision going in there. One of the really cool things in the Eschalon games is just how open the world is. For the most part, you can go where you want and find your...

Re: Who wants a sneak peak at TRC?

That is a damn sweet screenshot of what TRC might have been.

But I do prefer isometric, so I'm cool with not ever getting to play this version.

I am intrigued by some of the images in that shot. The windmill, etc. Tantalizing.

Re: Who wants a sneak peak at TRC?

Just fine going to an isometric design. More content is preferable to most of us here, I would say. And not taking 5+ more years is a good bonus. ;-)
