Re: Great timing, Unbe!

That would be epic. How would you know what you missed? That would be part of the paperwork. Or possibly being placed in a dark room, with lights in your eyes, men in black trenchcoats and helicopters...but I digress. Maybe if you filled out the paperwork incorrectly or answered questions wrong you ...

Re: What's your age, part 2

You need to clarify. Is this our physical age or our mental age?

Physically, over 40...mentally...about 13...

Re: How many games have you finished so far?

Just to make everyone feel younger...the first three games I ever finished.

1. Tunnels of Doom (TI99-4A)
2. Zork (Commodore 64)
3. The Bard's Tale (Commodore 64)

Me too...

I really hate it when monsters run away. But, that's why I purchased 5 levels in bow weapons and read a book. Which gave me 7 points in Bow.

Now when they run, they get shot in the back.

how???

Well, I've been lurking around this site about 2 days less than Rollor. Having played most of the Ultimas, Wizardry's, gold box SSI games, The Bard's tale games and many others I definitely had to try this one. So far it is definitely worth the money and wait. That "life" thing does get in...

Eschalon as a gift

If I want to give a "download" of Eschalon as a gift to someone for Christmas, how would I do that?

Glad to see the forums back!

I've been lurking a bit. Good to see the progress! Looking forward to a game that isn't as complicated as a lot of them out there today.

Keep it simple!

Thanks for all your work.

I would say this falls into the "unwashed masses" comment I made in a different post.

Requiring food and water is really cool. But, the "unwashed masses" would find it a pain, complain and return the game.

Food and water as healing assistance may be a good idea.
