One time I just stashed some stuff in a chest and came back for it. Also, potion of ogre strength comes to mind.

Take your boots off when you quick travel (or run through fire) so they don't get worn/destroyed.

Oh and of course the waypoint pillars. Now that I know where they are I tend to grab them first, especially for better merchants.

Hopefully you have a save before you entered. Otherwise you will have to use the editor. Somebody else used it to spawn a grub to kill.

I was able to reach 140,000 by game end by killing some guards and NPC's. Has anyone reached 160,000? Seems you would have to do a lot of camping in hostile territory.

Where is there a T. Rex? Seems like I have cleared all maps and not seen that.

I usually start a melee character to get a feel for the game, then go for a mage when I want to get serious. Now that I know where the best weapons are, I am playing a rogue with dagger, bow, light armor, and almost no magic. Interesting that shields are not heavy armor. Seems to be working fine.
