Just to add my two cents, I consider myself an "honest" kind of gamer. What I mean by that is, I never use cheat codes, never look at a walkthrough until I finish the game the first time through, etc. In the case of Eschalon: B1, I was never tempted to save the game and reload just because...

I just wanted to say that if Basilisk releases a "special edition", or a "collectors edition" or anything like that, I'm totally up for buying it. Seriously, I haven't played a RPG this awesome in quite some time, so it's more than worth the hundred bucks or whatever for a collec...

Actually, I found the in-game notation method to be quite sufficient. Everything that you could possibly have to remember, including locked treasure combinations and the like, is recorded for you in the journal. This goes way above and beyond most other games, where you'd be expected to remember or ...
