Re: Questions without FAQ answers
I think it was just the remaining Goblins in the Barrens of Crakamir that were slaughtered by the Taurax. Most likely they live in other continents, probably Barrea. Why Malkur has them killed really makes no sense, especially when they have proven to be effective. He really is a terrible schemer. ...

Re: Questions without FAQ answers
One last thing: it was stated that all the goblins were killed once they were of no further use. There seem to be a bunch still working for "the One". ??????????

Re: Questions without FAQ answers
1. They look like lottery game numbers. Related - I thought I knew this but was wrong - what does turning the head stone actually do? 3. There is a window where you can fire a missile weapon/spell at a lever to open a portcullis to the chest. OK, I had "cats eyes" activated and seen a lev...

Re: Questions without FAQ answers
Sot of noticed that - as I said, the very sort of character writers use to poke fun at someone.

Re: Questions without FAQ answers
2. Captain Morgan is a repeating NPC in all three games. Exactly; seems to me like the sort of thing writers do as a joke to poke fun at someone. 3. There is a window where you can fire a missile weapon/spell at a lever to open a portcullis to the chest. I'll have to look around again; didn't see a...

Questions without FAQ answers
1. Moonrise grave yard: "your lucky number is 4 9 17 22 25 35 36" - does it mean anything? It doesn't seem to affect a dice game with Lucky as far as I can tell. 2. Is Capt Morgan formerly of the Thaormore Guard an inside joke? Somebody the writers know? 3. Chest in the Druid witch's (Bais...

Done with I and II, now III
Just got III and playing my first character - as usual in the series, a ranger. OK, so what idiot decided the extreme concentration put stress on a bow? The series has way too much rest time as is and now I have to rest solely to repair my bow. Grrrr! Anyway, overall, still better (so far :) ). It d...

Re: Just a Couple of Questions
Silly question but, since the hero is a fisherman, shouldn't there be some ability to catch fish and eat same?

Re: Just a Couple of Questions
Something else I'm wondering about (and lack the patience to test). Many places have targets that one can shoot - does your archery level go up if you shoot "x" number of arrows into them? No, all of them (in Book II) are decorative. I guess it made too much sense :) Strange that they wer...

Re: Lava Slugs
Guess I'll have to get my alchemy up first so I can brew up some element protection. I think I'd die before they would even at level 19. Just crossing lava runs in the Brimstone area greatly damaged me.

Lava Slugs
What's the best way of fighting these turkeys? They keep running onto the lava field out of hammer range.
