That's cool...I haven't been around as much as I would like. I will tell you I hope that other project is coming along, that one I am really interested in as well.

Re: July Update - Book III

So, this is where I ask...any chance you go back to the skill discussions we had after book 1 was released where I cam up with skills that interact with other skills to open up new skills?

Balrum

A new game got listed on RPG watch today and thought it looked interesting...though I also thought it looked a lot like eschalon.

Re: What I've kicked in on Kickstarter for, so far...

Even with being funded I think it would be good in a marketing standpoint as I said already. The thought of offsetting some of the cost has to be a good thing. Why avoid a possible area for new clients?

Re: What I've kicked in on Kickstarter for, so far...

Malevolence was completed they just wanted to polish the game for 6k or so. They made it for themselves, contemplating making a card game and using the funds from the video game for it. The project hit over 33k. Just an example of what you can get if your not looking for huge amts of cash as a true...

Re: What I've kicked in on Kickstarter for, so far...

It is a it of work, yes I agree. But Thomas already has more assets then most companies that do it.

I'm willing to bet 95% of the people using kick starter don't even know he exists. This is not only a great way to offset costs but also get the name out there. And that is key.

I honestly think that you should take advantage of it now. Eschalon 3 could get a cash infusion by you doing it plus give you free publicity. One thing people have to know about kickstarter is that it isn't a preorder system. You have to do your research and look at the projects. It's not much diffe...
