Btw, This worked beautifully for me.

Remember to write 'padsp_32 /Path/to/game/' rather than 'padsp /Path/to/game' or it will run without sound.

Re: Ultima Worlds of Adventure 1 & 2 free at GOG

I once looked at these at the store and never purchased, because I only had cga graphics at the time. Always been meaning to pick them up, because I really loved the u6 engine. Thanks for the tip.

Re: Beta testing

I guess we'll have to come up with a new word or phrase to describe the beta testing and its temporal relation to us . . . like the phrase "at some point", or "when it happens"? "Are we there yet Papa Smurf?" "Not far now!" ... "Is it much further Papa S...

Re: Back to Beta

I'm sure it's very worthwhile, in the respect that you take part in the creative process (as you mentioned). Many (if not most) things that are worthwhile are also tedious at times. I've never developed games but in the programming I have done, no amount of hair pulling while trying to write the pro...

Re: Back to Beta

I think i'll leave the beta testing to others and eagerly await the linux version :|

Beta testing isn't all fun and games. I think it would be most appropriate for people thinking about developing their own games as you'll get to see a smidgen of the tediousness that is involved.

Re: Level cap?

I'm glad you guys enjoyed watching it. I hit the goblin statue 46 times for 138 goblins. Of course you will have to have super wisdom to avoid a curse testing the goblin god that many times. I normally just have a portal saved next to the priest in Blackwater. Even if you didn't have the strength to...
