Re: Mercantile Skill - HELP!
Ok, so I got some more data on this. The whole formula is driving me insane. I know there is a logical answer, because the prices ALWAYS come up the same. So there has to be a formula, but for the life of me, I STILL can't figure it out. Ok, so... at zero mercantile skill, the item value is doubled....

Re: Mercantile Skill - HELP!
Seems to me like price*(2 - 0.0355*merc), rounded down. so 200% - 3.55% for every level. But more data points will give a better estimation. I'll post some more data later. I need to make another character and just pump up merc, level by level. I figured this for lvl 20 merc, and it was off a bit. ...

Mercantile Skill - HELP!
Ok, so, I was bored and started an attempt at a FAQ for the game, one a little more in depth than what's out there and I've come up with a problem. Not knowing how it works is killing me. LoL I've found that mercantile affects gold in this way... Selling: When selling stuff to a vendor, take the val...

Re: The high-endurance silent warrior - character build example
Thought I'd give this as an example for anyone wanting to try something a bit different. Druidic Healer (with extremely good starting roll) Stats (L1 -> L21) Str: 14 -> 24 Dex: 13 -> 25 End: 20 -> 58 Spd: 14 -> 14 Int: 14 -> 14 Wis: 15 -> 15 Per: 25 -> 25 Con: 10 -> 10 Extremely good roll is an und...

Re: food
The second job I had after graduating from college was teaching computers using TRS-80 Model ones with cassette tape drive. In fact all the early computers I owned had cassette tape drives ( Timex-Sinclair ZX-81, Commodore Vic-20 and 64, Atari 400, Apple II). I remember playing a game called Dungeo...

Re: Female vs male character attributes and skills
The truth is you can still easily have a muscle-bound female or a dexterous male from the start of the game by choosing a good roll and allotting your extra attribute points accordingly, just like in Book I . Remember this is a BONUS, not a PENALTY....which means gender selection has no negative ef...

Awesome, thanks. I mean, for now.. to play the game, what I have works fine. It's a great game and would love to have a copy of it for my Library. I have a good 4-500 RPG type games in it ranging from crawlers to MMORPG's.

Re: proper storage space
Has anyone ever had an issue with the items coming up missing? This is the first time it's happened to me, I put the Easter Egg, and the first two notes you get into the chest at the Aridel inn and they've come up missing. The notes I'm not to wirried about, but the egg, well... I'm gonna have to re...

Ecshcalon: Book I CD's
I see the CD's are sold out, but I was wondering will more be cut? I currently have the game purchased via Reflexive Games. I've been a long time member of thier site because it lets me try out games before I buy them. I purchased this one because I played it a lot during the demo. I'd love to have ...

Re: The perfect dice roll?
I'm kinda of new here. I've been a lurker for the most part, just gathering info I needed and going about my business. Well I finished the game the other day and decided to come trolling the forums. All I can say to all of you with raw rolls above 100 is this. Please lend me some of your dice rolls ...
