Re: Just got the Crux of fire, and can't find Korren

You should be able to find it at any popular bookstore franchise, or even small bookstores in areas with a larger Muslim population. I'm sure it's even available online somewhere for reading.

Is it safe to use loot bags as extra storage containers?

I mean of course, do they eventually disappear along with everything inside? Also Do they disappear if they start accumulating around a given area, like say my character's house. If so, what's the number and size of area where I can expect these loot bags to begin disappearing if I keep accumulating...

Re: Anyone ever notice the car horns in the background sounds of birds?

So, you're one of the people who made this game. Good job. It's not bad at all. It plays like a commercial-quality game, not at all like one might expect from something a few people worked on in their spare time.

Re: Anyone ever notice the car horns in the background sounds of birds?

It's the birds chirping audio clip that plays near Everdale. I think it's the same audio clip we hear near the Farrock mountain range. That's where my character was standing when it dawned on me that the car horns could be heard while the birds were chirping.

Re: Question re: freezing to death

Don't get me wrong, the game definitely has entertainment to it. I actually liked the first one better though I think. It seemed to keep me interested, where as book II is off and on. For example, there is an option for a passive playthrough accomplishment. But looking at the Hammerlorne mines, I si...

Re: Question re: freezing to death

What they should have done was add cold weather clothing that is heavier than normal clothing, cannot be worn with armor, provides 2 or 3 light armor protection just because of how thick it would have to be, and perhaps even causes minor penalties to combat abilities because lets face it, it's hard ...

Re: Which did you enjoy best Eschalon I or II ?

I know this is old, but I want to answer. So far, book I is better. It's more motivating. You have a purpose. In book II, I'm finding a lot of issues with knowing what to do next. I've never ever been a fan of dungeon crawlers because they feel like aimless wandering around looking for things to kil...

Re: Uses of Move Silently and Hide in Shadows

I know this is old, but Hide in Shadows was a necessary in Eschalon Book I if you wanted to play any type not known for direct confrontation. I like to play Ranger types . . . always, and so I often pick skills they'd have, such as the ability to sneak up on prey, which is essentially what 'move sil...

Anyone ever notice the car horns in the background sounds of birds?

It's the funniest thing. My character is off in the middle of nowhere, hears all these birds chirping, and then car horns in the distance. I guess we know how they got the birds chirping audio clips
