Re: Multiplayer support for Book II ?
Good co-op games are hard to come by. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Re: Registration the way others do it...?
Would make sense for you to have a single distribution like that. The cut down demo stuff is more for games where they want to cut down the size of the file and/or limit the resources sent out. For a smaller company like this the good old time based demo with unlock would be good.

Re: Short Blade advantage?
I think the picks probably belong in the maces category. Ideally you would group weapon in rough categories by how they are used and then have separate damage types. So a pick would be mace with a piercing damage type vs a regular hammer like mace with blunt damage type.

Re: Short Blade advantage?
Very nice, so they will be good for ranger/thief type characters now hopefully.

Re: Paladin Character
Here is how I did my paladin. I would recommend getting air shield ASAP as well, or even starting as a mage and then adding div and going with the armor and sword once you can buy it. I did not find anything beyond the 2nd tier of div spells to be very useful on my paladin.

Re: "Paladin" Destroyer
My armor was all the best heavy stuff I could get enchanted +3. I had the warlords gloves, one assassins ring, the +2 str light belt, priest cloak, etc. I'll post a shot of my gear later. Once you get to Border Town buy level 1 bow and thrown. Demon oils and some arrows come in handy for blowing stu...

Re: The Adventures of Bear-Arsed the Iron Monk
End does increase hp regen, survival would just be for even more. Another idea would be to go for dodge. Since your AC is going to be low that would give you some straight up evasion and a bonus to hit when it triggers. But I think your basic plan is going to be the overall direction that works.

Re: The Adventures of Bear-Arsed the Iron Monk
I was mostly thinking about the spot in the Goblin Citadel but I guess if your hp was crazy high you could live through it, never tried heh.

Re: The Adventures of Bear-Arsed the Iron Monk
Cool idea. Though you are going to need to allow at least rock throwing at some point or you cannot get past a few certain areas. You should get your str/dex/spd to 15 instead of 14 as well since I am pretty sure that is where the next effect kicks in, not at 14. Are the damage stats for unarmed str...

"Paladin" Destroyer
Here are my fully buffed stats. This was my first completion so I could certainly have optimized a bit more and had strong elemental magic. There was no need for more then 1 pt in heavy armor and I could have saved some stat points in endurance. http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/8665/eschalonbook12...

Re: Destroyer, x5! - Review/Walkthrough: The 5 Character Classes
Nice write up. I'm on my first play through as a "paladin". I started as a healer and have been emphasizing str and weapons as much as magic. Fully buffed up with divine and ele spells the thrauk guys in the dessert have about a 10% chance to hit me. I'm just starting to put some points in...
