Re: Stuck in the Wine Cellar
I don't know if it's just because I'm used to playing games like this or what but none of the mazes, puzzles or riddles gave me any trouble what-so-ever. That S T E E L puzzle seemed to give people trouble too, but I figured it out literally within 20 seconds and then just commenced to actually figu...

Re: If you achieve Destroyer, post here [spoilers]
Here it is... too easy, but not as easy as the boss. I originally got the good ending, but I heard this existed and wanted to challenge my character. Odd... the text wouldn't show up no matter what I did though. The last guard failed his morale check and ran, a couple of diamond tipped arrows took c...

Re: Thank you for the great game!
Every class can use alchemy, it's just such a huge money saver and the enhancement potions (I find haste especially useful) are a must have.

Re: RPG Programs
Macs are fine except that some people see them as a lifestyle and not a collection of microchips and whirring doohickeys. I've got a friend who looks down on people who use "lowly" PCs, attitudes of elitism make me sick to my stomach. Other than that, they're fine enough machines.

Re: One of those nights...
O_O Good lord, I'm sorry to hear that.
I've had my fair share of computer death, first time it happened I had to learn the hard lesson of: back absolutely everything up on a second drive.
Hope the rest of the restoration work gets done speedily and you don't tear your hair out in frustration.

Re: Thank you for the great game!
I felt that disease was a large obstacle as well until I got level 10 alchemy, now I can make cure greater disease potions for the cost of a belladonna and chunk of charcoal. (With Mercantile level 2 that's about 120 gold, as opposed to around 700 gold from a merchant) And if I don't happen to need ...

Re: RPGs that influenced me the most...
Hmm, RPGs that most influenced me... Well, starting in chronological order (of when I played them) from first to latest: AD&D Pool of Radiance (NES) -- played this one before I could read, played it again multiple times throughout my life. Shining Force 1 & 2 (Genesis) Phantasy Star IV (Gene...

Re: Thank you for the great game!
Hahahaha, beautiful stuff, hysterical. I try to play as straight as possible but I find myself reloading occasionally. Lockpicks are just so expensive and my base level lockpicking skill I picked up from a book and +3 lockpicking burglar's gloves just don't cut it sometimes. Keep those comics coming...

Re: Thank you, Basilisk Games!
Instead of making my own thank you thread and taking up forum real estate let me also say "thank you" here. Best money I've spent on a game in ages, it's dang near everything I've always wanted in an RPG and never thought I'd see... makes me wonder why this doesn't have a larger following ...

Re: Home again...or not?
Way back when... umm, I don't quite remember what game it was but it was PC RPG and I believe it was one of the Ultima games you had to eat... I loved that, I don't know why but for some reason it made my character seem more... human, more believable (The Mighty Avatar!) and it adds a certain dimens...

Re: A complaint about the graphics!
Maybe I'm alone in this, but I think the graphic are perfect, nay, beautiful. Don't get me wrong, I loves me some beautiful next-gen graphics but there has always been a special place in my heart for simple, plain, and clean graphics and this series delivers. Size doesn't bother me either, I just li...
