In the back room of the port authority there is a switch that appears to open a gate to a big area that is locked in place; is it possible to unlock that switch ?

Is there a real difference to classes ? I.e, if i made a warrior with a set of skill (say swords) and stats; would it behave any different than a rogue that at the end had the exact same stats and skills ?

Well would be nice if you could take them to a blacksmith and have special items made for a price

Oh well good excuse to play again as a warrior. At least that way I'll be able to use some of the nifty weapons/armors

Ok I finished. I'm curious how many quests exist; the game sez I did 30 of them. I know I did not hunt down the treasure (did find the map but then forgot about it). I think I did the rest but who knows. I was level 22. I suspect 23 is possible. btw I had neither of the endings mentioned in teh faq....

Oh. I did that; some mean prospector or something and a ding ding for a lot of later exp. For some reason didn't think it was called westwillow. Hum. I guess it is time i finish up this game.

Can you actually do anything with bars of metal (i found a mithral one after killing the stone golem in those chests). I ran across a sinsister something in cape sorrow. There is a chest to the side with two weapons (blood by it that suggest perhaps a scarifice) and a thingy in the middle that if i touch it i am stunned while a gazzillion undead eat me alive. Is there a clue somewhere how to grab those nice gems

I'm a bit disappointed that putting a barrel on the trap was not sufficient (and then blowing it up with fire dart). (I did not go back but I saw the faq which basically said to do what i did but then use the switch to lower the gate on teh barrel). Thanks folks. I think I will explore more and try ...

Well this is lame I already tried blowing up a barrel on top of the trap that should have been equivalent solution
