I'd like to let you know that I've started working again in the mod a few days ago. Soon I'll make a new topic with screenshots and some info.

Re: Thoughts and Suggestions for Book III
In my comeback, I'll add my two cents. This is what I'd like to see in Book III: Technical: Dynamic shadows; multiple light sources cast multiple shadows. Water reflections. Positional sound: The SFX will be played on the right or left speaker according to their position. Basic physics: The player c...

Re: About speed stat
The "Speed" stat, in Book I, enhances your Damage and Armor Rating attributes. In Book II, it will allow you to actually move faster (well, really, the enemies will move slower) allowing you to outrun them when in trouble.

It is actually unreachable. I've already examined that portion of the map with the Map Editor. Too bad...

I'll start with a Fighter (like I did in Book I) but I'm also gonna put some points at Cartography.

Re: Need a fix
I applaud Basilisk Wrangler for both not leaking out too much info (builds excitement) and for not rushing to market. Rome wasn't built in a day! :D Agreed. Good games should never be rushed. I agree too. If someone has any doubts, they have just to look at what happened with rushed games like E.T....

You may add that you can't reload to get different equipment while scavenging.Antigrav wrote:Scavenger: You may only use or equip items that you find in your travels. You may not purchase anything, ever.
Shouldn't be too tough, right?

Re: Rebuilding Elderhollow
From my understanding on how the maps are called on, you can create a "map link" and call it whatever you want... so theoretically you can create as many maps as you want, and as long as you put those maps in the /data folder, they'll be there when you start a new game. That's what I did....

When playing my paladin (sword and board fighter with divination spells) You mean your paladin surfs? You can do that in Eschalon? How're the sharks biting? It doesn't do to bite sharks. They bite back...and front..and... ... to the sides. That ones really hurt. Also, it's very diffic...

Re: Rebuilding Elderhollow
have you figured out how to add a whole new map yet ;) Yes. I started to design the Inn's wine cellar from scratch (I used Leurik's basement) and it actually works! (although there is not much to see, just a barrel with 8 bottles of ale  ). You will find you will get a Savegame conflict or...

Testing is going great. Our biggest issue(s) so far has been balancing...Mages are the main concern now- we've recently adjusted mana regen rates and tweaked some spell power to make those characters a bit more enjoyable to play. I am putting in the final NPCs and map areas now so the testers can d...
