Re: The State of the Basilisk 2018: A Year in Review
As a former indie developer myself, I can certainly understand your struggles. And though I'm disappointed that there isn't a new game to play, I'm still rooting for you! And meantime, I have a backlog of Nintendo games for my Switch and Wii U to play through. So I have enough to keep me busy for aw...

Re: What are you currently playing?
Wow, just realized it has been awhile since I posted here. I just completed a cross-country move from California to Michigan. We've been here one month now, and are just finally starting to get settled in. Anyway, since my original post, I finished Breath of the Wild and Avernum 3. Loved them both! ...

What are you currently playing?
This is in response to BW's invitation on the front page (http://basiliskgames.com/update-please/) to "stop by our forums and let us know what you’re currently playing!" I bought myself a Nintendo Switch right after Christmas, and I played through Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (one of my first games on tha...

Re: The State of the Basilisk, Summer 2017
Whee! This is great news! Can't wait to see some screenshots and a video! I've been looking forward to a good sci-fi RPG for a long time. Am currently playing Xenoblade Chronicles X (which I found at a discounted price of $20 on ebay) on my Wii U. I'm not too far into it yet, but am enjoying the pla...

Hm. I play on a Mac, and haven't encountered any white square issues.

Re: A few thoughts from my latest play through
I replayed Book I about 6 months ago. Replayed Book II about 3 months ago. Still very enjoyable games!

Re: Uses of Move Silently and Hide in Shadows
Hm. I never noticed any problems with it when I played. Granted, I did have to pump more points into both skills and DEX, as well as Light Armor (if I wanted to wear light armor and move silently), but I was able to sneak around most places without being seen/caught, and distinctly remember sniping ...

@mercy: I believe BW has stated in the past that the new RPG will be 3D.

Re: The Sanctum: Mod for powerful wizards
Wow, I would have never got that, even if I had a magic user. Hehe!
My poor ranger doesn't have enough points in Elemental or INT to be able to cast supernova. But I'll make a note of it for the next time I run through this with a mage character. Thanks!

Re: The Sanctum: Mod for powerful wizards
Yeah, shoot me a PM. I will probably replay this game with a magic-user in the future, but I'm not sure when that will happen. Thanks!

Re: The Sanctum: Mod for powerful wizards
I finally got around to playing this mod (after nearly 2 years!), and I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I was playing with a ranger-rogue build, but still managed to get pretty far I think. I kept going back to various shops and places looking for more powder kegs and demon oil, but those 2 things alone ...

Re: Book II Mod: Return to Bastion Spire
Troy, one last detail almost forgotten. What about the access to the mage's summer cottage ? Thanks. Again, check the readme. It tells you how to get into the summer cottage. (Don't want to repost it here, for fear of spoiling it for someone) Hi Troy. Thank you so much. I will go back to the tomb a...
