Re: Macross Point
Would someone mind posting the actual code? I don't have Reveal Map, or even any Elemental skill at all with my current character, and the Brightness trick didn't work. Otherwise I'll be reduced to scrolling through the gate code one number at a time, until it opens. Thanks.

Right-hand shift button
I'm going to ask for the same thing I asked for (but did not get) in EII: to be able to use the shift key on the right of the keyboard instead of the left. I game left-handed, and it's a pain to have to use the left shift key with my right hand. I know this isn't a big problem, but it's still a pain...

Re: Slow Walking
My video card has 512 Mb RAM, my computer has 2Gb RAM, but the darn game still won't work properly.
edit: And I'm using AMD, not Intel, for my processor.

Re: Where's the Beef?
I'm up to about 10 in mercantile, and it makes a big difference for me. When I buy something, instead of twice the value, it's only 1.6 times the price. And selling, instead of half the value(50%) I'm getting 75%. That may not sound like much at first, but if I sell something worth 400 gp, I get 300...

Re: Slow Walking
But if the minimum requirement is 2 Ghz processor, and I'm only getting 1.91 once, then wouldn't that mess it up?

Re: Slow Walking
I may have figured out the problem. I've updated all my drivers, etc. and gone to v1.02. But I'm using a dual core 1.91 Ghz processor. Does the game support dual processors?

Re: Slow Walking
BW: I've tried all 3 rendering options and it does the same in all of them.
I'll check my version number though, in case I missed an update.

Slow Walking
Is anyone else having problems with this? There are certain areas where my character slows down and moves at maybe half speed. This happened a little bit in E1 (mainly in a section of Tanglewood). But in E2 there are numerous places where this happens. For instance, there's a section near my house, ...

Left Shift
I don't mean to nitpick, but as a lefty, it would be much easier for me to use the right shift button for attacking inanimate objects, etc. I looked in the general.cfg file, but that wasn't one of the keyboard commands listed. Surely it can't be that difficult to just make both shift buttons work? :)

Re: Autosave on arriving on new map
I have played several games where an autosave was standard whenever you entered a new "map" (be it cellar, or just a new section of map). I was a bit surprised that E1 didn't have that. I just assumed E2 would. Maybe we'll get it on E3?

No mention of Irfan View?
http://www.irfanview.com/
It's a picture viewer, with plugins and does batch processing too.

Where will the beta information be posted? On the main Eschalon II page or here in the forums or where?
