screwed up a quest

So I was doing a new playthrough and I forgot to talk to shelta marie before going to old moonrise. now I can't get her quest. ugh. I tried to add the sealed letter to my inventory... but unfortunately without the quest being coded as begun.. no dice. I already did SOOOOO much and only quicksaved.. ...

Re: Anyone Else Played Bard's Tale IV

I never finished it but I got about 80% through the game. It had some major downsides at times... the puzzles were super hard.. fun when you figured them out... annoying when you looked up the answer and still had trouble (some are visual puzzles very complex) combat took getting used to. But the mu...

Re: Wintry Games

Bit late to the party.. what I have been playing: I had never played West of Loathing before.. just got it and I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. So worth it. then I played citizen sleeper, a mostly narrative sci fi game where you are an artificial human (kinda of a clone) super fun storyline... and now I am r...

Re: How about Steam Achievements?

i for one would love steam achievements. I worked hard for the 8 out 13 achievements I got and it would be nice for it to be on my steam badge page.

Age of Decadence

anyone play beta? few games have had so many incredible things and so many wonky/crap things at same time. I finsished the beta as a drifter who went high charisma who never chose combat, and in the one battle I was forced into, I had minions and I literally just ran (in turn based combat) as they t...

Re: the new forage and meta-theory on fast travel

I dunno it's pretty simple for most people I'm sure. I use fast travel because it's convenient. It would be pretty goddamn annoying to have to walk everywhere. Walking everywhere is fine when the areas are still new but eventually it's going to get tiring. Although hardcore OG Morrowind fanboys wou...

elder scrolls beta (playing? thoughts?)

so I started it. the early intro is a suckfest. the daedric realm is chaos, it took me awhile to figure out stuff while the game engine was like "you must hurry" and I was aware that this is in real time which i NEVER do cause I never mmo. so I was like stressed, ya know! :) anyway, got ou...

Re: General Thoughts on Book III, So Far (some SPOILERS)

I believe in general additional skills are less worthwhile in Book III, but definitely Alchemy has suffered. The game is shorter and the Alchemy trainer isn't easily accessible, so your chance to develop Alchemy is less. There are also no dwarven ghosts who drop Ectoplasm, while that is a crucial c...

Re: General Thoughts on Book III, So Far (some SPOILERS)

yeah, on that true healer thing, ]Randomizer , thank you for the suggestion. I will never get it. :) I did my "massive challenge playthrough" and if i had not rewrote save where I killed edgar (friendly pc) I would go back from that point. But I don't want to replay journeymaster/immaculat...

Re: General Thoughts on Book III, So Far (some SPOILERS)

I think my favorite thing about 3 was the secret areas. my least favorite thing was buying up alchemy and only finding one auricflax in whole game. in 2 It was really really fun to craft weapons and armor. I loved it. in this game I only got to upgrade one bow and then found a better one. in 2, I th...

Re: Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines

I played bloodlines. really liked it. never finished it, I got to like the last 5% of game but screwed up and needed to replay about an hour and then lost interest. it was buggy. there was a long patch in a sewer if you were a ventrue I have no idea how you could survive because there were no humans...

Re: Akadi Underworld

I don't know who told me this, but I was very young, and it was about mazes, but i use it in video games. when I enter an dungeon I turn to the right and keep taking rights, sticking close to the wall. also, especially in grid games like eschalon, I like to circle a map if possible and then go to mi...
