I've just double-checked with the official links and the checksums are OK...
Don't know what happened for you.

Alternate download links - France
Hi there, As I di 4 years ago, I've put up a mirror here: http://free-unices.org/eb3/ Feel free to use it. BW, if you could validate the checksums, it would be nice for your customers. And of course, if you want me to put it down, just ask (I will be offline for a few hours though...). P.S. : I had ...

Re: Servers overloaded
So it seems.
I guess it was in order to lower the load on the web server while waiting for the mirrors to come up.

Re: Servers overloaded
I've put up a mirror here: http://free-unices.org/eb3/ (I did the same thing for eb2 at launch time).
BW should validate the checksums, but you're free to get the Windows and Linux version from my (small) server.
By the way, BW, if you want me to shut it down, just say the word.

Re: [sound] Not working anymore -- ArchLinux 64bits
Ok. So my problem is now solved.
I had to recompile the lib32-speex package (there was some kind of incompatibility) and everything is working again.
This bug was Arch 64bits specific.

Re: [sound] Not working anymore -- ArchLinux 64bits
Thank you for you answer. [sound] Not working anymore -- ArchLinux 64bits [solved]
Hello there, I've got a strange problem... I helped users get sound working on those forums a few months (years?) ago, and now it's my turn... I'm running this game on ArchLinux 64bits, with a bunch of 32bits compatibility library, and the game was working greatly about 12 to 18 months ago. I tried ...

Re: Crash with full screen and multiple monitors
Re your ATI question, for my previous laptop (Vaio), the latest ATI driver where quite a pain to install (ArchLinux) and still had a few graphical glitches, even in old games like Book 1.
Never tried anything fancy through wine though.

The only thing I know is that those games where built using BlitzBasic.
Re other tools, I think only BW could help you.

Re: Crash with full screen and multiple monitors
FYI, with an NVIDIA card and monitors in Twinview, a lot of games crash for me in fullscreen (Aquaria, World of Goo, Gish, etc). Only Penumbra runs well, except the display is centered on the wide screen, rendering it unplayable.
