Divine Ore Greatsword--too heavy to cast with, but base damage 11 and it is upgradable.

[Spoiler!] On questing unethically near Blackwater--nice job

I just want to say that the most awesome moment I had in my game was a long-delayed sidequest result. I had decided to try the "backstab Lilith and bring me her amulet" quest in Blackwater. Of course, I made a side trip to the vault once I had the amulet, and retrieved a sword of 100% pure...

There's another way this bug manifests under 1.02. (I haven't tried the patch yet.) Try camping when in a dark place. Wait for a random encounter, but don't move if it's daytime. As long as the player stands still, the game doesn't recalculate lighting for that square. Attacking enemies works as exp...

Yeah, late-game I found a Divine Ore Greatsword that was heavier than I could cast with, so I ended up toggling to Demon Oil whenever I wanted spells. Adding a one-turn penalty for switching equipment would be a Good Thing, in my opinion.

South Gate key is in Darkford. You have one chance, and only one chance, to steal it.

It sounds like your best shot is to go through the Ossuary.

Yeah, I finally gave up and hacked the game files later that day to find it. I had made a pass through the area earlier at Cartography 2, so I didn't notice the missing section until much later.

I just chucked my incinerator fuel at the guards and ran to the (inactive) Goblin portal. Only had to face one at a time this way...

Very, very cool!

I'd say add both. The mithril ore quest is pretty humdrum, but I like the potion quest. And adding those two areas would give a much better appreciation for the game; the current demo is awfully short.

Oak acorn?

I've scoured Western Salted Coast and the Tangletree maps, but I can't seem to find the Burley Oak acorn. Do I need to do something special with Oolaseph besides finishing his quest?

Del137: The problem is I don't have access to an Alternate Language version of Windows to do any testing on. I thought several other users said the problem was fixed once you rename the folder to "My Documents". Okay, I will work on this for the next patch- probably add a line in the conf...

Could very well be. I rebooted last night, tried this morning, and it worked. My uptime had been two months on this machine.

Also, yes, the blinking feather is new.

I can't speak for elkston, but I'm using a Logitech MX518 without any drivers installed--it's a standard 5-button HID wheel mouse ("HID-compliant mouse") as far as Windows is concerned.

Same exact problem here, right down to the permanent help mode.

My OS is Windows 2003 SP1. Changing renderer from DirectX to OpenGL doesn't help, and neither does the windowed/fullscreen switch. Windows XP compatibility modes do nothing.
