I beat Lazarus a few weeks ago and it was one of the most rewarding and entertaining RPG experiences I've had in quite some time. Highly recommended.

Both Baldur's and Icewind Dale use the Infinity Engine, which is even worse than the Aurora Engine used by Neverwinter Nights. Though all three games suck. This game looks to be a breath of fresh air in a world full of soulless RPGs with meaningless choices, boring combat, and simplified gameplay. I'm looking at you Bioware games and post Daggerfall Bethesda.

The Realms of Arkania games are great, especially The Star Trail. Unforunately though, the fourth game isn't looking too great.

Realms of Arkania 4 is being simplified, and even worse, modeled after the Baldur's Gate series.
