Yes, without class specific restrictions on the types and number of skills that your character can learn, Eschalon is basically a rpg game whereby you can choose to multi-class in all kind of ways that you like. That's the whole point of the character system in Eschalon. I think i read one of the in...

There's this mini quest in north parish which is similar to what you seek. It's not exactly a starter quest but it's pretty accessible during the first few hours of the game.

It's all good news to me. I'm liking BW's way of staying open and providing essential updates to fans periodically. It's also great in the sense that BW and his team treat fan feedback seriously. Staying true to the "Basilisk Games" type of game means that book 2 will be just as good or ev...

But it really is a constant irritant for people used to faster play, and saying so is just constructive criticism. Initially when i play eschalon, i thought that the walking speed was slow too, but not anymore. You got to learn to appreciate book 1's uniqueness. Like Rune said, 'running' may be an ...

Re: A list of digital insects encountered in Eschalon.

# In the Bordertown, there is an old man (forgot his name) that stands by the shore and has a quest for you. If you have completed this quest before ever meeting this man, you can immediately choose a dialogue option that states that you have completed the quest! Suggested fix: Have the old man off...

Is there any use for it? Ever? :?:
I'm also wondering if the widget has any uses. Could it be a misc. item like an urn?

Well, the spell damage caps, i.e. level 6 can still remain. What i think is that we need to have higher damage output for the higher level spells, i.e. supernova. Right now, supernova just doesn't do enough damage per mana point for me to use it frequently. I rather walk around and gather the creeps...

1) The great intro music.

2) Nice sound and 2d graphics.

3) Descriptions of places that pop up! They are all very well-written and adds atmosphere to the environment.

Thought of another idea: Why not we have monsters that take up the size of 4 tiles and make them as optional side quests in book 2. Dragons anyone?

Unfortunately I found this cave early on and killed the Bandit or whatever he was, outside of the entrance. Now (I SO wish we could have a map notes option) I am trying to find it again. Is it located in the Central Tangletree Forest area correct? I'm ripping my hair out trying to remember where th...
