Sorry for the long delay, distracted IRL. Pauper destroyer - wow - now THATS a true challenge.
Looking forward to more alternate endings and/or challenges in Book 2 (just announced!).

Hmmm, this is very interesting. Here are some proposals: Modifiers to Challenge Games: You may take the following modifiers to challenge games, which increase or decrease the difficulty level (on the emoticon scale). Arrived on the Short Bus: All starting attributes must be 9 or less (+1 difficulty)...

The lighter side of the "Pirate" thread
LOL I thought it was a new class available in the game, and was all excited when I clicked on it. Starting skill = sailing (you can use the boat you find near the lighthouse) Otherwise like a Ranger, but more suited to seafaring than the woods. More focus on melee, perhpas even dual-weilding... All ...

Hooray Sticky! I went back through a Destroyer game and was able to pick up No Magic (normal ending) and The Shadow (normal ending) on my way to Kill Everything. The shadow is easy if you know Alchemy and can mix potions to help you see in the dark. Likewise, Alchemy takes the place of magic so it m...

Survivorman Update: This one is really, really, hard. I started with Light Armor, Short-Bladed Weapons, Bow (from Ranger), and of course, Alchemy and Survivor. I decided to wait on the Cartography quest to get Cartography and put all my extra points into Survivor and Alchemy. I had the idea to take ...
