Re: Reg number

Ah, that is good to know! Makes it a lot more comfortable to update your game. In order to avoid any problems with deleted emails I keep my registration code printed, to be on the safe side. Wish I had done that. Now I have nothing, no games and no registration codes. Yeah I know, My fault!!...

Re: Reg number

How do I retrieve my reg. number for book 3? Check your email for the registration code... MY emails were deleted too. I'm waiting for a response from BW. Hope he doesn't tell me to contact Plimus/Bluesnap. I have dealt with them before on a different issue and they always have a dozen reasons why ...

Re: hostile townspeople (Minor Spoiler, Maybe)

A flask of charm cloud or the charm spell is the only non-cheating way to make people friendly again, and it won't work on Valx, the mage in Old Moonrise, because he's too powerful. The cheating ways are to delete the 4849.* files from your save directory or to use the map editor to manually change...

bugs? what bugs?

I've been reading of all the bugs to be encountered in bk 3 and it just ocurred to me that I just finished a game and found only 1 very minor bug. Did all the quests too. This is most probably due to my great skill and talent as a gamer. LOL!! BTW, does anyone know how many of those Gilded Moon thin...

Re: unarmed combat

Increasing a weapon or unarmed combat skill becomes less effective at higher levels as it goes from +1 every level to +1 every 5 levels. You are better off increasing strength and dexterity even though that is +1 every 5 combined attribute points. Dexterity might be more useful at this point since ...

Yes, thank you, I was getting the feat mixed up with the power mode.

unarmed combat

Is there a limit or cutoff for skills and attributes? I am at level 12 with unarmed combat at 33 and st 37,dx19,en34,and sp23. For the last several level ups it doesn't matter where I put the points there is no increase in to- hit or damage. I see no increase except in hit points and that is automat...

Re: log in auto

It's supposed to reduce the number of times you log in with your password. I guess that must be it because I only have to put in my username and never the password. The password must be the automatic part. Originally I thought that I would not have to log in at all because I have been on websites i...

log in auto

What does it mean on the log in screen where it says " check here if you want to be logged in automatically every time you visit" It doesn't seem to do anything. I 've always wondered. Thanks

Re: hostile townspeople (Minor Spoiler, Maybe)

In my experience line of sight does not seem to matter when turning a townman hostile. They become hostile even when behind a wall and cannot see you. It seems to me that distance is the factor.I have never used Charm or Dazzlilng Flame either. They seem to be effective only on low level enemies and...

Re: hostile townspeople (Minor Spoiler, Maybe)

The purpose of Lucky is to get a massive influx of gold. If you wait until you have ~20k or so, gamble and win, you'll have 40k. He's the "cheat mode" for beating the Wealthy Lord challenge. So what if he's a sore loser and attacks? If you don't want to kill him, run away quickly. Drop a ...

Re: hostile townspeople (Minor Spoiler, Maybe)

I believe that charming them does work, and I know that resetting the map file does. If you do reset the map file though, you could obviously abuse the regenerated items, etc. It's up to you. I can tell you why the mage in Old Moonrise is probably mad at you: After you stole copious amounts of mone...

Re: Bug report: Unaware enemies

I've only seen this happen when my mage was attacking at extreme range right at the edge of the screen. And not always even then.
