I just finished Book 2. That was quite a bit shorter than I was expecting. I am disappointed because I enjoyed playing it
Now I must decide between Book 1, Avadon or trying this one again without cheating heh.
It took me 19.3 hours.
Thanks Basilisk! No regrets on buying this!

Re: TES V: Skyrim
Just a heads up: If you can help it, DO NOT LET STEAM UPDATE THIS GAME TO 1.2 . Your mileage may vary, but this is what I got after updating: * Fast travel is broken, if you click on a marker the map just closes. * Favorites menu is broken, if you click on anything it just closes. * Lock picking is...

Map Notes
I would like to have the ability to put in map notes on the quick map. Several times I have found it difficult to re-find something that I was looking for. Or if I run into some monsters that are out of my league, I could put a note on the map warning myself. In Pools of Radiance you could add multi...

Eschalon Book 2 > Skyrim
Ok, so maybe it is not necessarily "better", but I am finding it more addicting! I only recently bought both book 1 and 2 through steam. I didn't know what to expect. While I struggled with Book 1, I have been racing through book 2 and greatly enjoying it. I cannot say the same for skyrim....

Re: The Role, my own roleplaying game.
yeah, i replied to some old posts :) I just kept finding so many posts i liked, i kept going back. I only recently stumbled upon these more retro games and am eating it up. While they won't ever surpass my love for something such as Oblivion, with the more modern graphics than the days of yore, this...

Re: Difficulty Levels
The thing with me and difficulty is that, the first time I play a game, I play it for the adventure, not the challenge. If I run across some area that is just too tough, I am liable to stop playing and never pick the game back up. If the game has replay value, that's where the more difficult or &quo...

Re: The Role, my own roleplaying game.
Some screenshots of the game would be nice.
I never play anything without seeing what it looks like first.

Re: Din's Curse
I found din's curse a couple of months ago while my main computer was in the shop and I needed something less intensive to play. I absolutely loved the demo and quickly bought the game. Sadly, it took longer to arrive in the mail than anticipated (i got the retail version and not the download. dumb)...

Re: The Best 10 RPGs of all time!
Neverwinter Nights 1
Oblivion
Morrowind
Diablo 2
Might and Magic 6
Baldur's Gate 2
Dungeon Siege 1
Divinity 2
Diablo 1
Plenty of honorable mentions, but I could only think of 9 that I really liked enough to put in a top 10 list.

Re: Brightness adjustment
while i haven't had an issue with the brightness level in book 2, the extreme darkness in book 1 really turned me off. I have not experimented with all of the light sources, but I know that the magical light spell is weaker than a torch, and I very much dislike that. Perhaps make things darker but i...

Difficulty Levels
I'd like to have the ability to adjust the difficulty. And I don't mean the few options at the start of the game like requiring food and water. I'm talking monster strength. I found eschalon 1 very hard to start, especially with how dark that first dungeon was. NOT a good place for a level 1 noob. A...

Re: Please remove the load/save part of the game
I am one of those people who would not like the load/save part of the game removed and agree with Kreador Freeaxe
