Re: door at entrance to Rockhammer Lvl 2
Nope that key is for there is no way in to that room as standard, though I think MyGameCompany's mod might include a way in.

Re: Map and Char editors v1.0
Right I've just had a try myself I actually found the same, even though I have show all files turned on Windows the AppData and other hidden folders did not show in the editors open dialog, however Ctrl+H worked and they all showed after toggling that option on so I reckon that just needs setting as...

Re: Map and Char editors v1.0
Strange, I've not played properly with any version that has the newer open dialogues, I will install and investigate late on this evening or first thing tomorrow to see if get any issues.

Re: Map and Char editors v1.0
Now I think about it I'm pretty sure the AppData or Application data folders are hidden folders in Windows, something I never considered as I always set windows to display all files. You can either open up an explorer window and go Tools > Folder Options > View Tab > Tick "Show hidden files, fo...

Re: Scripting
It's actually a full list as BW did release the full list of the available commands and I'm pretty sure Xolotl updated that page to match.mbrowne wrote:Reverse engineering can only go so farraverdave2k wrote:Information regarding the scripting commands can be found at http://apocalyptech.com/eschalon/b3scripting.php

Re: Scripting
Information regarding the scripting commands can be found at http://apocalyptech.com/eschalon/b3scripting.php Dialogue and quests are held within various text files inside the datapak, for us to add custom options would require changes to the game engine so it also looks for these files in the Mods ...

I also managed to toggle that lever and open the front gate on my last play through when I hit one of the archers in that corridor with a bast of Fireball.

Re: True Healer
I could of sworn this broke it for me the other day as I can't think of anyone else I had killed prior to noticing I'd lost it. Although it's possible I just turned up on his doorstep and fire balled his ass with out discussion, if so may be that's why, doing it through dialogue it's part of a quest...

Re: E3 Hall of Champions
Usually all of my Book play throughs have been nice mellow affairs with no attention made to the challenges and food / drink and repair turned off, this weekend however I decided to go all out with all the modifiers on and try for as many challenges as possible. Was somewhat slow going without the u...

Re: Version 1.02 Readme for Mods
Unless BW's made a last minute change I'm fairly certain on this version the datapak still comes first in the read order so existing maps in the mods folder will be ignored.

Re: Website issues
Never had any issues with the site itself aside from the GoDaddy fiasco at launch, however I've been trying to download the new update for Book III this evening and the download speed has been appalling (varying from 40 - 100kb) and it's failed twice, luckily it seems to support resuming.

Quick Travel
I was wondering if there would possible of allowing mods to incorporate new or replace existing quick travel markers? If adding new ones obviously there is no spare space on the current list so it would require an update to the GUI to either add scrolling to the list or perhaps have a second right c...

Re: Book III Mod Discussion - New Ending?
I've seen a few mentions now of porting Book I and II over the Book 3 engine and it is definatey something I'd like to see, I am curious though what the score would be there with regards to registration? How would you enforce some one needing to own Book I / II before they can use the mod version wi...
