i am a mage lvl 13 and i have to bash doors and chests in with my lvl 10 mace. There is a house in broken blade south of sparrow where i try to bash the door in and it is impossible. i even used a couple kegs of powder and it still stands. what is in this house and is it worth it to bash the door do...

I have a couple problems with a chest east of the prospector location. This chest is protected by 3 balls of lightning. I have tried to bash the chest in cause i am using a mage lvl 13 but i get fried by the lightning. What is in this chest and how/what is the best strategy to get in it?
