Re: Feel better Dragonlady

Hi Dragonlady, really sorry to hear about your ill-health. Get well soon; my prayers are with you that your health is fully restored and that you are able to really enjoy life again.

God bless you always.

Is there more than one source for a candle? - I lost the only one I ever found - in the barrel by the drunk.

Re: Sound settings not working correctly as of v1.0.3

Well, I've found that the 'OpenAL Built-in Line Out' provides me with stable sound - I've given up on the music and just kept to the effects - I always found it useful in certain situations when you got audible warning of the proximity of a monster. I'm using a MacPro Early 2008, Dual 2.8 quad core ...

Re: Sound settings not working correctly as of v1.0.3

Any success with this problem? I am finding it increasingly irritating - the sound level of the effects gradually gets louder and louder, and no amount of resetting will turn them off!

Re: Any Jethro Tull fans out there?

Wow! I had almost forgotten JT! Ian and his breathy flute seem a lifetime away, but then I suppose it is actually more than that for some of the members of this board. I loved their music, and saw them many times, mainly in any big local pubs around Essex. They were often backed by a pretty decent b...

Re: New Basilisk Games Logo?

Good grief! What a difficult choice. I went with the new logo after much comparison. But i still really like the original logo, particularly the i's slanty diacritic; I suppose that, in some ways, the choice of the barred t in the chosen Celtic script has a 'similar' feel. The flare could do with a ...

Re: F12 key in New Character setup.

There are issues with all the function keys that would be so useful if they could be remapped! I have the bog standard keyboard with my Mac Pro, and all 4 of the assigned function keys have specific uses that are not over written by Eschalon. So, no use of F1,F2, F3, or F12 in the game, whether full...
