Toxic Cloud

'Sprays the target creature with a vaporous mix of Polonium ...' No. Probably remember this from the news of how the FSB killed off an annoying political person in London. Polonium http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polonium is extraordinarily rare, fortunately for us, and mages are not nuclear physicists...

Re: The Fog

True, but there's' hope for the future.

Eventually the whole series will have to be updated to keep it fresh for new clients.

Re: Body of Evidence

Realistic really isn't the goal, believability is.

My opinion, is my opinion.

The Fog

The character shouldn't be able to see through walls into buildings, or map beyond his vision area in the dark. Sometimes the programs takes great care about what is in visual range and then just ignores it in terms of what i can actually see on the screen. It's a wonderful advantage but isn't the w...

Some thoughs

I've found that playing around in the world is much more interesting that completing the story tasks. In this regard the narrative should probably be de-emphasized in relation to developing a capacity for the world to regenerate challenges. Rather than wandering about, the player may wish to establi...

Re: Body of Evidence

They apparently have one full time employee.

Ideas never hurt, even if they can't make use of them.

Just as criticism is far more valuable than the acclaim of fans.

Re: Alien Nation

The straight out of the Xfiles Alien head figure, statements by the critter, alien technology. It's close enough that it has a spoiling effect. It's a hokey D&D story to begin with, an excuse to romp about the lands skewering critters and people, but this kind of thing kills it. For me anyway. S...

Re: Recipes

Speaking of explosions, why not have gunpowder barrel as one of the recipes?

Why not have an Arquebus or even a Hawkins available in the store?

Body of Evidence

It couldn't help but be noticed that the lands are rife with corpses, bones and grave yards. Beyond an admirable capacity for storage, little has been done with corpses. Not one to waste an opportunity, I propose a class of spells to put to use these neglected but valuable resources. Depending on th...

Re: Balance and Rangers

If you start from rational constraints, game balance should be easier to achieve.

Re: Camping

I just use elemental armor against the cold, but I think what I'm getting at is that if you have the resources at hand it should be possible to set them on auto for particular situations such as camping. The character should eat and drink from his supplies as needed, just so the play need not interv...

Re: Bar None

There are some things we can assume as representative, there isn't the computing power to create a whole city. So we redact to essential elements and buildings of interest. What you're carrying in your back pack is however relevant. Why not then allow infinite arrows or throwing daggers, their indiv...

Alien Nation

Got to the end, not very difficult. Space the Aliens. Mixing the Xfiles and the Hobbit doesn't work. Did you see Indiana Jones and the Crystal skulls? It sucked. Seriously, next patch, space the alien and replace him with something more Cthulhu like. Hopefully by Book III everyone will have forgotte...
