Re: IJB's Random Book II Gameplay & Gameplay Element Thought
I wish the townhall building in Eastwillow was designed differently: there's basically no "stealthy/sneaky" way (at least, for non-magick users) to look at (or steal!) the Constable's ledger without Brelinda seeing you, forcing you to "commit a crime" (and likely be forced to ki...

Re: killing stone golum?
The powder keg method is probably the easiest way to kill the stone golem. While it requires a bit of running back & forth to get it set up, after you get it set up, it's simply a matter of drawing the golem to the kegs, blowing up a set, and getting it to come to the next set. Plus, you do get ...

There's a hint/spoiler in the Fathamurk section on how to use powder kegs vs the Golem.

Re: sinsister something in cape sorrow
I used 5 powder kegs around myself to make a wall around myself while paralyzed. Then I simply sniped the undead from my "impenetrable fortress".

Powder keg trick I found.
DId a quick search and since I didn't find anything, I'm assuming it's something people don't know about. Basically, find a spot that allows you to channel foes. One square wide is best, but 2-3 wide is okay. Then, block off all but one square with powder kegs. At this point entice foes towards the ...

Re: Level cap?
Sorry. To create the spooks, you fill the four chests, and then open/close the gate that they make possible to open. Each time the gate opens a spook appears in the main hallway from which you entered that area (just shut the door leading in & when you're ready, open it, kill as many as you want...

Re: Level cap?
The easiest way I've found to get "infinite" XP (and money) is in the ossuary. You can essentially create as many spooks as you want, kill them for the XP & ectoplasm until your inventory is full, sell the ectoplasm for the money & repeat until you've broken the 20th level and have...

Either you're REALLY into retro gaming or you're one of the original "hobby computerist" generation. So, if you're the latter, was it the C-64 or Apple II version? Or maybe Atari 7800/Sega Master System console?? Jyri BTW, the E-cookie is a lie! Welcome! Stay awhile... STAY FOREVER! :twist...

Re: proper storage space
Best spot I've found is up north in Bordertown. There are several chests/casks close enough to each other that it makes a good drop off spot (plus you can quick travel to it)

There's also a "cheat" for stackable items. Let's say you have one ectoplasm. You kill a poltergeist & it drops an "unknown" item that looks exactly like ectoplasm. Just stack it & it automatically ID's.

"Silent" means you're not making any noise. That's a good thing because some of the creatures will investigate a spot from which they hear noise, so it allows you to sneak around better.

Re: Busting locked objects with spells not causing agro npcs
I suspect it's more of a "oopsie" than a bug. Like the "store your stuff in someone's private container & they attack you when you remove your own stuff but leave theirs inside" situation. No matter how much you might beta test, there's always something one of the "teemi...
