Re: Some more on Translation
I can help with the Spanish translation. But if someone already translated the monster profiles, it doesn't make sense to do it again...so I'm just letting you know.

Re: Nitrogen for Book II
As actreal stated, Nitrogen is an "achievement" tracking system. Similar to the Xbox 360's achievements or Steam's achievements. They are merely for bragging rights and it's a little bit more believable than simply saying you did something. If they decide to do this, they should at least t...

Re: Beta Testing
I don't mind paying like I did with M&B. Only problem I see is limiting it to 50 testers. I'm not sure how many players are active on the forum. (I myself have been gone roughly 2-3 months) But I'd think the testers should be at least 100 if we pay. And more if it's free beta. I'll gladly pay fo...

I didn't mean like that...Jude wrote: Oh, man, don't ruin the female characters by only letting them use "girly" or "stripper" clothing. That would be a big disappointment after finally getting female characters...

Re: Book II Questions Thread
Since we will be able to choose male or female characters, will stores stock different gender clothing? Or will it all be the same? And on a similar note, will gender help/hurt certain stats?

Re: error
Thank you! It worked, but now Eschalon run very slowly, to hazard a guess at how many fps i was getting I'd wager no more than maybe 5 fps. It was really slow, with 16-bit color, and non full screen. Even the loader was slow! I know my computer can handle it. I have had it playing Over lord. So I'm ...

Re: Book II Questions Thread
I didn't mean to make Book II easier, I meant make it harder in Book II for the people who beat Book I based on how many quests, people killed, etc.
Back to questions, will there be difficulty levels? I like mine insanely difficult.

Re: Book II Questions Thread
I know are characters can't be imported. However, what if you implemented a Book I game save check and if they have a save file where they finished the game, Book II's difficulty will increase by how well/fast they beat the game. Does that sound feasible?

Re: Do you want loot/pick lock/disable trap to be changed ?
The System isn't broke, but yes, sometimes it is a pain. That's why you invest points in the spell to unlock doors and chests. Max it out and you shouldn't have a problem again.

Re: Book II Questions Thread
When does (or will there even be?) closed/open beta start? And tying into it, how are you going to select people to test? Sorry if this isn't an okay question to ask.
