Re: Movement animation

Hi. I already know this won't be addressed in book 2 but I thought I'd add a data point in case it helps with book 3 development. In my previous post I noticed I hit the problem between days 74 & 75 in uptime. I haven't played in a week, so I'm not sure when I crossed the magic threshold, but I ...

Re: Can't open sack behind sconse/wall.

Wow. Nasty bug. I'll see if I can blow up the door. I guess I'll have to start doing named saves. It's a shame the quick save doesn't keep the last 3 (or so) quick saves.

Thanks for the advice!

Can't open sack behind sconse/wall.

Hi. I tried to search on this and had not luck. I defeated an opponent who was carrying an item I need. (A key) The opponent was standing next to (behind) a wall that had a torch on the front when I defeat it. I can see the treasure sack on the map but I cannot click on it to open it. It instead tel...

Re: Movement animation

I have this problem as well. I'm running 1.05. I had animation last night and not tonight. I'm about 75 days and 8 hours since the last reboot. It's just my character who doesn't appear to animate. Everyone else in the game (NPCs) seems fine. Like others, I hibernate my system so I don't have to res...

Re: Lost walking animation

I have this problem as well. I've been play in the evening for the last week or so. Last night walking worked fine. Tonight it does not. However I'm running 1.05 on Linux. (Should I repost this on the Linux only board?) I hibernate my system since restarting all the apps I have in progress and resto...

Re: October/November Update

I won't hold a grudge if you aren't don't this year. Give it time and make sure you're pleased with it. Book I was great. Hopefully there's no need to rush Book II.

Re: Cartography nit

Great. I sent a few suggestions and comment after finishing book 1 to the email address (I had trouble with the board that and didn't want to lose the info) and I forgot to mention this little nit. Thanks!

Cartography nit

Just a quick request about a nit that I've forgotten at other times. When I've bought detail maps from AAA in the past, the map did not lose detail when I visit the location due to my inability to make a similar quality map myself. I also made a point of not altering or erasing portions of the map s...

Re: E2 and Linux

Though I would love to be able to buy Book 2 as soon as possible, I understand the reasons for staggering releases and appreciate the attention to providing good support to each platform. I guess my big hold out will be the same as before. I'd prefer to buy on media instead of buying a download. I'm...

Hi. Sorry if I'm posting something that is common knowledge. I don't read much of anything outside the Linux forum. Am I seeing right on the purchase page? I can buy the download plus a CD with the Linux version? (Well Linux and other two OSes?) I just want to make sure I'm understanding it correctl...

Well, to be fair, unless there have been updates from when I last checked, I think I'm the one from Happy Penguin.

CD release for linux?

Hi. Is there any chance there will be a CD release for Linux? The extras on the CD look nice (the map, the music, etc) and I'm not quite a fan of buying downloads. Just thought I'd ask.
