Re: (Book I Mod) RD's Book I Mod

Wow, it's been a while since I've played through this mod, but as I recall the widgets you find in the secured area activate a series of machines that open the one-way exit. I seem to recall there being three widgets, but that may be a false memory.

I'm thinking you may still come out with TRC before the Mac or Linux versions of Bard's Tale IV come out. ;-)

Have a great holiday and we're all looking forward to what you can do in 2019.

Yes. People must be allowed to fail in their own way. ;-) As long as he's having fun, though, he's not really failing.

Re: Anyway out of the last dungeon tulashon?

He cannot win without the Crux, but he should be able to walk back out of Talushorn. You don't get trapped inside. It's not a one-way decision going in there. One of the really cool things in the Eschalon games is just how open the world is. For the most part, you can go where you want and find your...

Re: Who wants a sneak peak at TRC?

That is a damn sweet screenshot of what TRC might have been.

But I do prefer isometric, so I'm cool with not ever getting to play this version.

I am intrigued by some of the images in that shot. The windmill, etc. Tantalizing.

Re: Who wants a sneak peak at TRC?

Just fine going to an isometric design. More content is preferable to most of us here, I would say. And not taking 5+ more years is a good bonus. ;-)

Just to attacks, not spells. They do affect unarmed attacks, though, and will cause them to damage enemies that resist non-magical attacks.
Which is just the thing for that "monk" wanting to fight his way through some spirits.

Re: Who wants a sneak peak at TRC?

I'm hoping everyone here understands enough to know how patience is definitely a virtue in this case. Keep chipping away at it, BW. The fact that there is gameplay for someone to test out is a huge thing. Looking forward to hearing more (and realizing it won't be "soon").

Re: Who wants a sneak peak at TRC?

I would certainly be willing to give it a test. If you haven't already selected the tester. I did just upgrade to a newer iMac. Not exactly a screaming gaming machine, but certainly should be capable. EDIT: Oops. Saw the "PC" part. Hm. Maybe I can get my brother to drive back to town with his gaming...
