Re: Bug & Error Compendium nr. 2

The experience bar is showing the progress during this level only which goes from 40,000 to 50,000 points. You are 7/10 the way there. Looks right to me.

Re: Combine unknown items

You'll actually see this "feature" written up in the Player's Manual. :)

Re: Grammatical errors and typos part 4

Good thing I wasn't a beta tester, right Buckets ? :P I think you would have annoyed the heck out of them if you were, but most of your catches are pretty good. Here are a few more: On level 1 of Hammerlorne Mine: "A illusionary wall!" - should be "An illusionary wall!" D...

Re: Grammatical errors and typos part 4

In Gilgamen's shop, when you click on a barrel, it says "...filled with scap metal..." - should be "scrap metal"

Re: Grammatical errors and typos part 4

Message upon entering dwarven bone aggregation chambers: "...This is the preferred way for most common dwarves to be interned..." The word should be "interred".

Re: female character

My female character is doing great! The dexterity bonus I got at first was just as useful as the strength bonus a male character gets. My character's gender definitely has no other impact on the game and certainly does not affect how many goodies I find. Must be just a string of bad luck you're gett...

Re: Cartography - maps get *erased* if skill is lowered

It's also described in the Player's Manual this way. It's correct behaviour.

Version 1.03: Dialogue with Xed after you mention Werewolves: "What I speak of is a Lycanthrope. Born of dark magick, a powerful mage may fuse himself with any creature he wishes, to take on their form and power at will. In this particular case, the mage who dwells in Everdale has fused himsel...

Re: Feats and Weapon Skills Discussion

All I know about first hand so far is the Great Cleave. I can hit up to 3 creatures at once and each one is rolled for. They have to be right beside each other though. I like it a lot. Makes me smile each time :D

Re: Grammatical errors and typos part 4

Hammerlorne entrance message: "...and carries with it an oddly pleasant of bread and..." -I suppose the word "odour" is missing (or odor if that's how you spell it in the US)

Re: Advice/problem for a Cleric

You can also get an idea of a good starting cleric by selecting the preset healer using the right F key at the character creation screen. That one is set up to be able to be both a decent spell caster and fighter.

Dialogue with Lord Brumbelton:
- "The air is crisp, the snow is bright." The comma should be a semi-colon.
- "...one soul in all off Eschalon..." should be "of"

Re: Grammatical errors and typos part 4

Jedi_Learner, your attention to detail is admirable however I'd like to comment on the type of issues you are finding. I cannot speak for Basilisk Games, of course, but it is my opinion that issues like missing periods at the end of sentences and extra spaces are too minor to bother with. These tiny...

Re: Windows Exception Error

You've got problems with the permissions with your profile, it looks like. The other cause of course is if you are actually running out of hard drive space but I'm assuming you've already checked for that. Now because you say you are not very computer saavy, I'm going to suggest you create a new use...
