There are all of these interesting books in Eschalon that don't serve any purpose but improve the atmosphere or give you some background of the setting. I was loathe to sell them, but they were weighing me down. I wanted to hold on to them in case I decided to read them again later. So I stuck them ...

I actually felt bad for Penelope. I didn't want to accept the measly award she offered. I wish there had been some kind of option to refuse it, or even to donate some gold pieces to help her out.
