If you don't try to read the in-game text there is no spoil (you played book 1 and 2, right ?).

Re: RIP Dragonlady

Dragonlady was part of the forum, for as long as I've been here.
She'll be even missed on the World Wide Web.

Re: Favorite moment in the Eschalon series?

The very first Dungeon in Book1, in the abandonned town. Simple and effective, really liked that one.

Re: Basilisk Games and Future Coding Language Update?...

You can somewhat mitigate the problem with C++ and multi-platform using #define for OS-specific function calls, but for that you need to have it in mind when you start coding (else it's a pain to replace all calls with your generic call).

Both are made by abused chinese people, so does it really matter ? (yes, I'm trolling, I know, but it's been a while since I last did that)

Re: Baldur's Gate

Am i the only one thinking its just another money grab from a company?

Is is, as well as BasiliskWrangler is trying to grab our money with Eschalon Book (and he is welcome to do it).
But it is also a way to get younger players to try that old rpg, those that wouldn't try it because of the old ...

Re: Alchemy and Elemental Damage?

You always do the damage, but monsters have a save throw (unless they are immune where I guess there is no need for a throw).

If a monster succeeds his throw, you only do the weapon normal damage, without the enchantment (but you still do damage).
