A tiny update

I'm not sure why, but in the past 2 weeks I've gotten a flurry of messages asking for an update. I figured I could drop a quick note here and reach more people. Lately my attention has been more on The Next RPG rather than Zodiac . I guess that is the benefit of being truly independent- I can work o...

Do you know if it's helpful to send these to the staff, or am I wasting their time?
I mean, if there are no plans to ever patch these, maybe I shouldn't annoy them. =/
At this point we have no plans to update the Eschalon games anymore, even if they become incompatible with modern hardware.

Re: Engine ?

I considered open-sourcing the engine a while back and was strongly advised against doing so, by several sources, for various legal reasons. Many of these reasons are still true. Namely, open sourcing means I lose all control over the software, and it will be impossible to protect the code form bein...

Re: Jack of all trades challenge

I honestly don't remember how the rules were enforced, but I think you need to have those skills above 5 naturally (training or skill point use). Item bonuses do not count. Though I could be wrong. It's been a long time since I've dove that deep into the code.

Re: Welcome to the new Website!

You can no longer get Book I on Steam unless you buy the trilogy edition. Prices have been lowered for the other two games. Steam still having trouble digesting the new changes or is everything as it should be? Hmm...well, it should be listed as free. I wasn't aware that it was completely unavailab...

Re: I nuked the forums...

my eyes are bleeding i await your new theme ;) If you go to your User Control Panel, and select Board Preferences, you can now choose "Prosilver Rust" under My Board Style. I am still changing colors manually, and there are quite a few menus that still need adjusting, but for those of you who want ...

Re: I nuked the forums...

So I got the forum update to go through early this morning, but it looks like our default dark theme didn't work well with it; several menus were messed up, as well as some font (character) issues.
