Re: Emerge: Cities of the Apocalypse

@ Prismatic Maelstrom and Blatherbeard: Thank you so much for your input! Heh, I'm a grammar nazi too, but one can only detect so many slips only by themselves  for a game thats not my usual cup of tea That's quite interesting, because I have a knack for making games belonging to genres I don'...

Emerge: Cities of the Apocalypse

Brace yourselves, fellow Drunken Lizard pub patrons, for it's SHAMELESS PLUUUUUUG TIIIIIIME! Okay so I've been developing a game since 2012. There's some info below, please give the demo a whirl, tell me what you think. It would mean a lot. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/603411_8b026ace7e9d4fe7a...

Excuse me but "huh"?

Sorry, I meant that I haven't figured out how to make my character move faster/run in the game.

Re: Setting up an online store for a game&more Questions

About preorders:

Does BMT Micro handle pre-orders? If so, how does this work? I mean, someone pays. Then what? What do they get? An activation key? The game link is emailed at them when the game is ready?

Re: Age Of Decadence

Played a merchant. Lots of dialogue, you have to pay attention. Got involved in zero combat (although I bought super cool armor and fought once in the arena). The later parts of the game feel rushed, as well as the endings. I disliked that some content was locked as the story progressed (there's thi...

Re: Setting up an online store for a game&more Questions

Thanks a lot for your replies! They are useful and to the point. It seems that, among others, opinions on website/Steam sales ratios tend to converge. Sometimes I feel that it's too late to do some stuff like make a dev blog. If I made one back in 2012 when I started it, it would have made more sens...

Setting up an online store for a game&more Questions

This question is mostly directed at BasiliskWrangler, but anyone with some insight on the matter is more than welcome to provide it. I have been developing a Windows game for the past 4 years. I am near the stage of finishing it. So, aside from Steam Greenlight or other online platforms, I am lookin...

Re: Fallout 4

Ah, yes, the Bethesda take on the Fallout franchise. For those who have played the originals, it's like giving Vin Diesel a glowstick and naming that movie Star Wars. As shooter/hiking simulators the new Fallout games are actually pretty fun (only New Vegas came close to the originals' spirit) As RP...

Re: Shadowrun did most everything right

Yeah but Matrix wasn't even close to the awesomeness that it was in SR for the Sega Genesis. OK maybe in Hong Kong it was better than the previous two but still.
