Re: Make a potion, pick up a powder keg?

Powder kegs are fixed positions in Book 1 unless you are a goblin. Alchemy is done by clicking on a bottle button at the screen's bottom and then moving the required ingredients into the slots and an empty bottle for the mixing box that appears. Save before doing this because if you make a mistake o...

There are different amulets. You need the one marked key 26 from the Eversleeping Cemetery.

Re: Making money

One thing you can do is save before opening a container, then make several saves of the items in a container until you get one that has a really nice item or lots of value.

Re: Avadon 3: The Warborn

Linux was only done by Jeff Vogel for Exile 3. Any recent ports to Linux are by third parties with his approval. There isn't a lot of demand for Linux versions. The ones for Android were third party and were hard because of all the different graphics versions to support different screen sizes. That'...

Re: lair of the Emayu Witch

Once you go downstairs there are two ways from the trap area. The left way opens after going instead to the right and fighting past skeletons, opening a portcullis by using spell or missile weapon to open the switch. Then more fighting until you reach the final switch.

Re: lair of the Emayu Witch

You need to go down the other way and find a switch at the end of the passage after a few fights. Some switches need to be hit by missile weapon or spell.

Re: Prismatic Maelstrom Banned

Spiderweb Software had similar problems when they made Blades of Avernum that allowed world building. The sales weren't there compared to regular game sales.

A free add on is harder to justify when putting the energy to another game will bring in more revenue.

Re: True Mage challenges...

1. and 2. True Mage really is hard because you have to take so long using Spark to chip away. It's like you are chopping down the tallest tree in the forest with a herringbone. You can postpone those two until you are a higher level so you can use the highest level of Spark or have another spell. Or...

Did you ever get to the guy working on time fuse powder kegs? Back during beta testing the rain could put out his fuses. :)

Re: The King Of Old Here?

Only if you can't see the computer screen. I saw one guy on another site want more iPad/tablet games since he could bring the screen in as close as he needed to with his bad eyesight. There was another guy about your age who was hiding his gaming addiction from his children who were doctors. So he o...

That's the problem with cruise lines, there's no refund for interrupted travels and no guarantee that you will make your planned destination. :)

It's great to see Lewis back in action?

I think Europe banned games where you could kill children.
