Re: How will you survive? [Heavy Spoilers]

Why do I keep getting this phrase stuck in my head reading your post?

"Click, click..not the ONE. Not the one." *shakes head and walks away.

Re: Is book 3 on the schedule?

Book 3 is on schedule for release mid to late summer 2013. The only thing that could change it would be our first alpha test in May. Depending on the feedback of our trusted internal testers, we may change the release window. Feedback such as: too long, too short, too easy, too hard, boring, confus...

Actually I also have a Windows system that I pull out when I'm desperate.
I, too, can play some Windows stuff. Have my Mac partioned (is that the word?) but I hate having to do a click fest to get to it.

Looked interesting but it doesn't seem to be available for Macs. :(

Re: Question About Steam, And New (Mac) Games...

 not to mention more and more Mac games can only be gotten by going to the Mac Store. :x (which usually means no downloading for demo's) I refuse to buy a game I can't play a demo in. sigh.

Re: I wonder if I'm thinking of a different game...?

I know, I'm twice your age plus a few more and that's what happened to me! :o Really? Isn't that you in your avatar....? That is amazing; I used to see a lot of similarly-aged folks in my occasional peeks for anything new and exciting through the 'casual-game' boards (marble-poppers, match-3, etc.....

Re: Hive larvae

The only place to get them is in the Whistling Cave. If you've retrieved and eaten all of those, there's no official way to get more. However, you can cheat a bit and "refresh" the map. Go to any other map and save your game. Then find that game in your save games folder. Make a backup co...

Re: Baldur's Gate

I've gotten away from BG already. I just really, really think turn-based combat is what makes for a good RPG. I heard of the game..heh, even way back when playing table games but never played it. My son heard about the Mac version coming out this week and he thought I'd like it since I'm mainly a 1...

Re: Baldur's Gate

One of the problems with the infinity engine games is that real time combat is ridiculously confusing and just doesn't work. Turnbased combat is how rpgs SHOULD be made. Use your brain, not your reflexes. Good advice. I'm trying to get thru the tutorial right now. I keep having to restart it as I f...

Welllll.....*sigh*...I'm a bit of a 'tard, evidently. (disflamer: I'm in no way derogatory towards the mentally challenged community; just the opposite, in fact.....truly couldn't think of a more fitting descriptive for this particular shame of mine) :? *ahem* Anyway. Re: Baldur's Gate

My son just told me you can download the game right now for Mac's but it can't be played until Friday, the offical release date. We believe there is some kind of date app to keep you from playing it now. We also think you can download it now to avoid the heavy traffic on Friday. Here is a link with ...

Magi Surami can be found in the temple of Atana in Port Kuudad and he asks you to destroy the Goliath Boreheads in and around Fellpine Forest.
Yes, I assumed he was a cleric of some sort since he was in a temple.
