Re: Weapons and Armor Materials (may contain spoilers)
Hit chance is based on skill and any magical modifiers. Damage, Weight, and Durability are linked to the material. Damage is also dependent on the weapon type and name. So a two-handed sword will do more damage than a regular sword of the same material, but will be significantly heavier. Likewise, ...

Re: An addition "Can't enter Westwillow" type issue
I also got the same message when tried to enter the next map on the way to the Dwarfs village (can't remember exactly which one).
Maybe it's the end of the map...I dunno...
How can we know if it's indeed the end of the map or something should have been there ?

Re: Weapons and Armor Materials (may contain spoilers)
So you say the damage is not higher and the hit chance is the same ?
Only the "wearing off" , "repair time" and "weight" are different ?

Weapons and Armor Materials (may contain spoilers)
Hello ! In Book2 there are a lot of different materials for armor and weapons. But what material is better then the other and in what way ? A sword from different materials still does 6 damage and cost much higher...why ? Do we have a list of materials from the poorest to the greatest ? Thanks Maxim.

Re: The Lycanthrope Quest ! (Spoilers)
To Elwro; have you been to Kuudad yet? That's the commercial centre on the map, you'll find much more there than in those village shops. Heh, that's where I'm planning to go now. Unfortunately, the guards won't let me in. I thought about pulling the lever while invisible, but unfortunately I cannot...

Re: Did i kill off the only chance to get under the Dam?
Thanks,
I Guess I'm screwed till the next patch 1.04 .
And then I will also need to reset the map (what exactly does it mean ? that all monsters are walking again ? and what about my xp from those monsters ? ).

Re: Did i kill off the only chance to get under the Dam?
----Spoiler and Question ---- I've spoke with the midget and he opened the gate, I killed everyone I could find there and gone trough a long and narrow tunnel just to find out it leads nowhere and the game says "Turn back, there is nothing for you there" ... So why all this trouble going t...

Re: Poll: Is Book II Easy or Hard??
It's hard to answer... First of all I'm not even near finishing the game (just started). Then if it's like Book1 it all depends on the character you choose to play. In Book1 the fire throwing mages were overpowered and almost invincible while playing a warrior was challenging and frustrating. Now in...

Re: Advice/problem for a Cleric
Thanks, I've started anew and improved Cleric based on CrazyBernie character, but a bit different (not nearly as much Intelligence, clerics don't use it anyways). I've neglected the swords skill to bludgeoning and left all my other skills as they were. I've found the repair skill to be a must skill ...

The Lycanthrope Quest ! (Spoilers)
After being very disappointed by the priest's quest which had only one solution which is - to kill his disciple, the next quest I took was better...much better... Most of the people like me (I assume) chose to believe the mage because Xed looked like he might be the "bad guy", all dirty an...

A very welcomed addition to our currently small number of cRPG's on Linux.
And a very nice game by it's own.

Re: Repair Skill Worthwhile?
If you are playing a warrior this skill is a MUST, at least 1 point.
You don't want to find yourself in the middle of a combat without a weapon.

Re: Poll: Book II Game Rules: Hit or Miss?
Current game : turned 2 of them on (the other 2 options which were unselected). I don't like worrying about food/water so I deselected this option. I want to save/load anywhere so I didn't check this option as well. I've set the item generator to not be random because I can't resist loading every ti...
