Re: Registration the way others do it...?
BW, I think the new system you propose is nice. I have not asked for the last 1.05 version because it means some hassle of sending mails and so on... so having the possibility to download the full game and just put again my Licence Key would be great. I also wonder if the Licence would be OS specifi...

Re: Development Update for April
Port Kuudad.... lovely name... Does that implies we will be able to do some water travel ? Should we take care of a big serpent-like being in some mist around here ?

Re: Short Blade advantage?
Personally I think the best way to do this is separate weapon categories further, differentiating how they're used from how they damage. I don't think Eschalon is the game to do this, but I would definitely like to investigate an RPG system that uses a very extensive weapons category system like th...

Oopps !! I did it again !!!
Awesome !! We at Basilik Games didn't think it was possible ... ;-) To answer a post in the linux forum, I installed he game on my 64bits Ubuntu to confirm it works like a charm so I just had the perfect excuse to play it again. So much easier this time. I did play an atheist wizard, which prove to ...

Re: Demo not responding to input
Hi, I have installed the full version with just one problem. It starts with no sound. Quick search on google found me the following link http://forum.playgreenhouse.com/jforum/posts/list/789.page that did save my sound issue. You should have no problem to run it on Ubuntu Hardy 64bits. Enjoy the game.

Re: * BOOK II COMBAT OPTIONS *
Looks a nice addition to the game. Personnally I like the idea of quaffing a potion while using a parry mode. You can imagine to have a few belt pouch for 2 or 3 potions that could be used that way. Sure with a shield and sword in hands, you may find it difficult to get to your belt pouch, but we ar...

Re: Beta Testing
You are right about the loss of time for everyboy with the drop rate, but I find it sad personnally that money is the way to keep people doing things.... My name in the credits would be marvelous and more than enough ;-) A Rezo character in the story would be too much ;-) (I always remember that the...

Re: NEWS ITEM: October 6, 2008 - First Monster Profile Posted
BW, Wonderful !!! This is exactly the kind of thing I love to find in a Game Manual (whether online or printed). I am a fanatic of these Compendium Encyclopedics of Bizarrerie of the Lands by the Great (but somewhat Crazy) Alchemist Tu-Mapuvu. If we can have in the same format a weapons and ar...

Re: Some more on Translation
May I, as a native french speaker, speak for the hundred millions of gamers that do not speak english ? some of them speaking language that requires other code pages and need for specific fonts as BW knows quite well. (welcome Russian players :D ) Indeed, I18N is a big work. IMHO to use worth only i...

Re: Book II design question
Somewhat late in the discussion but here is my opinion. I do use some reload when I think the game cheats me of my probabilities (like you have 90% of picklock and I break my 3 picklock on it and the next city is very far away (missing quick location here ?) or the chest contains nothing after killi...
