Re: Kamyran's Eye 2 re-visited:
I'm in pretty much the same position as Dragonlady, not to mention I still haven't had time for gaming as of late due to my ongoing project as of the last couple/next couples days in particular. Things are ramping up in a good direction as per the latest posting in my signature!

Re: Kamyran's Eye 2 re-visited:
That is a great find Dragonlady. Timeline wise, fits in decently with the freeware change on it---though I might want to remember to mention that Mac version for the main description page. No disrespect meant Rush, I tend to use it in general same as "guys" and so on here and there. On the...

Re: Who's getting Dragon Age?
I might try to grab it somewhere down the line, but the suspicious earlier previews pretty much bumped it off the list in lieu of other games for the last bit of my gaming funds. Odds are there'll be a ton of stuff to it down the line considering their User Editor and the like...and maybe some of th...

Re: Kamyran's Eye 2 re-visited:
Went to download Kamyran's Eye 1 for the PC and discovered that the link to download the .zip file is broken...doh! Was going to ask... Getter77 ...can you recommend any other graphical rogue-likes? ---Rush. Indeed I can lad, indeed I can---especially since, with ONE exception, I simply can't deal ...

Re: Kamyran's Eye 2 re-visited:
Heh, somewhat intentional I reckon, the game still holds many of the secrets. The interesting bits are the things that CAN happen, possibly leading you to ruin, but still making you wonder just what else is possible. For example, those destroyed towns and such that happen? Yeah, you can actually win...

Re: Kamyran's Eye 2 re-visited:
I popped in for a time at roguetemple.com, Getter77. Nice site. I bookmarked it so that I am able to spend more time there in the next few days and beyond. Very cool that you helped out on Kamyran's Eye 2! ---Rush. Thanks! Roguetemple is a nifty place, even with as litle time I've been there. As my...

Re: Kamyran's Eye 2 re-visited:
Yep, tis good stuff. Glad I was able to help out with it a tad when it was making the transition to free/improved after Manifesto went under.

Yep, and now you can check out all 3 parts of those Preditor scripting videos as the final part just landed recently. Still can't believe the great price point and prompt release they've wrangled. Seems that, for the first month, it'll be exclusive to their website directly, then from there it shoul...

Re: Din's Curse
Tis great looking stuff and as this is supposed to be their "hardcore dungeon crawl" foray, I'm expecting great things.
Then the trick becomes when will I get money/find work again so as to afford it sometime after release.

Re: Dungeon Treasure
This game is still alive, a dev team member just posted recently in their forum. Things are moving forward, but they are apparently having a tough road to trod with Java in respects to the lot of it.

They've apparently got the magic Basilisk! Just saw Torchlight is coming out Oct 27ish for $20!
Yet I don't know if I'll have any money left to afford it.

Re: Torchlight: Like FATE mixed with Mythos...
This looks really amazing. It's a beautiful game. My only "concern" for the developers would be that they made a direct Diablo 3 clone that is going to be on the market at the same time as Diablo 3. I mean, even the cartoony world objects and GUI look like they came from Diablo 3's concep...

and with a crazy powerful and intuitive looking Editor as showcased in part by this video! Crispest HD youtube video I've ever seen to boot. http://www.torchlightgame.com/developerblogs/2009/08/28/preditor-scripting-101-part-1-of-3/ From what I can track down onsite and otherwise, you can muck about...

Maybe somewhere in 2010 or 2011 there will be mega-collections for both series and I'll just dive into the deep end.

Demo and full version is out folks. I'm proud of the helping I put in as my first shot helping with a retail game. Surely some folk here will get a kick out of it.
