Wow still no walking animations! I know it seems lame but I just cant get past that, it makes it feel so dang stiff.
Hopefully his next series will have that!

Re: The Icewind Dale series
I think you can get those games real cheap on ebay or something. Think I got Icewind 2 for like 6$ or something. I found them both very similar, almost all combat very little story. That being said the environments are fantastic. But ultimately the continues combat made me lose interest. I dont thin...

Re: Eschalon: Book II Teaser is up!
Awesome, I want the game now!
New map, lava river, monster summoning.
I liked the little box that appears to hold your active effects but it was too small for me to see what they were.
Also, white wolves in the arctic region, very nice.

Ah, good times. Love the M&M series so much. Curious which is your favorite? The Swords of Xeen trilogy (3,4,5) is my favorite, but I enjoyed nearly every game in the series to be quite honest. The seems to be the consensus for the best M&M. I havent played throught those yet, the cartoony ...

Re: Might & Magic LE
I beat M&M1 with a cluebook. I just can't take not having an automap. For M&M2 I didn't make a huge dent in the main quest but I did find a nice magical well in a desert that bumped stats up to 200, then I would transport to a valley with very nasty creatures. After several failed attempts ...

Re: Might & Magic LE
I'ma do this old school and start with MM1. I've tucked away a CRT monitor at work so as to complete the experience. It's mid semester so I've got a million and one faculty breathing down my back and I'm in the middle of buying a house but after that it's plenty of space and taking plenty of time o...

Re: Might & Magic LE
I purchased these but haven't had the opportunity to play them. Maybe I'll take a few weeks vacation at the end of the semester and hole up in the basement. Yea these games especially MM1 & MMII are definitely in my top 5 RPG series of all time for me. For someone new to them though you might w...

Re: Might & Magic LE
My son got that deal a few weeks ago and finally got it loaded onto the PC side of my laptop. I tried to play it but it wassn't working very well. MM1 that is. Couldn't figure out how to quit. I have faint memories of Playing MM1-3 and I think I only finished 1. That was long ago and on our Commodo...

Might & Magic LE
IF anyone is a fan of the old might & magic RPG's GOG.com has MM1- MMV1 for 9.99. http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/might_and_magic_6_limited_edition I bought it and have been playing MMVI lately, really a pretty good game. I hated it when it came out. Being a fan of MM1 and especially MMII since t...

Re: Questions raised by the latest screenshot
Couldn't you screen capture it? I learned how to do that about 5 months ago and have been cutting and pasteing up a storm. I use GraphicConverter for the Mac to do it. :) Book II has a built-in screen capture function (default keystroke "p"), just to make things easier. Excellent, hopeful...
