Re: How much play time will Book II have?
[1] Book II is not the same! There are several side-quests that you will come across that you'll have very little hope in completing with the character you'll likely have at that time. You're going to have to learn when to back out of a difficult quest and return to it when you are bigger and badde...

Oh man that's really crappy. When are they going to invent water proof phones or do they already have them?
Well anyway, Merry Christmas!

Re: Clash of the Titans trailer
Oh man this movie was a huge influence on me as a kid. The scene with the medusa just thrilled me, she looked so creepy and realistic. Great effects for the time. I loved the Stop Motion animation that Ray Harryhausen created. It's also awesome in the Sinbad movies. I actually like the look of stop ...

Re: Siege Of Avalon anyone?
Here is the link to my post on this game.
My main problem with it is the forced linearity. It feels like a novel where you have no say in anything. If the game gets better later on let me know.

Re: Expansions/DLC for Book II?
I have no problem with a company releasing purchasable DLC if its things like add on areas or quests. What I dont like is when you encounter an area in a game and it mentions you have to purchase the content to unlock it like Dragon Age did. I think it would be great if Basilisk release some additi...

Re: Avernum 6 is out.
Dang no windows release until spring. It seems odd that he released Mac version first, there are far more windows users out there aren't there?
I like his games and the improved graphics look pretty good but the lack of walking animations drives me crazy.
I sure hope his next game includes that!

Re: Stronghold
Yes it is a bit like those in some ways, but the Castle construction and siege planning is what I like more about this game. Most strategy games get boring for me fast because I get tired of micromanaging settlements, it gets repetitive after a while. This one has held my interest enough to finish i...

Stronghold
Anyone play any of the Strongold series games? They are strategy\simulation games so I didn't put this in the RPG section. I played these games a bit a while back and went back to play Stronghold again and man this is a great game. Im not a big fan of strategy games but I am a big Medieval buff. The...

Re: 2Worlds II
Yea I liked 2Worlds more than Oblivion as well. It had its flaws but at least the world wasn't generic where all dungeons were the same. I quite enjoyed exploring around in the game. Looking forward to the sequel. Is it just me or is that video on the website choppy and does it make anyone else dizzy?
