Re: The State of the Basilisk, Summer 2017
Well, in this case it is currently 33% of our games that have had a significant amount of free content added. That should count as "occasionally". I'm just doing this to annoy you but I don't think it does. Basilisk Games have been in business for ten years now and one update of free cont...

Also, we don’t believe pay-to-win, loot boxes or paid DLC of any kind, although we do occasionally update our games with new content, free of charge, as a thank you to our customers. Occasionally? Apart from Fathamurk can you give us some examples of when you've updated your games with new content?

Re: Emerge: Cities of the Apocalypse
After nearly a year of not playing I've finally got the last two achievements I need for completion. Thank you for reducing the party member one. I really should write a review for this on Steam as it doesn't deserve a mixed response. I didn't get any new item unlocks which was disappointing, had to...

Dead game? Eschalon: Book I was released nearly ten years ago. Making it free most likely has renewed interest in the other two games in the trilogy and what Basilisk Games are currently working on.

I can't see anything wrong, but then again I haven't used the editor in more than two years. Sorry I can't be more help.

Re: Quick question....
The book "Of Men and Giants" also mentions elves. I can't think of any other references. "First, a note concerning Giants: they are not the feeble-minded creatures of popular conception. They are, in fact, highly socialized beings equal to that of men or elves, though perhaps their pr...

Re: Question re: freezing to death
Oh, and they should also have done 1080p instead of sticking us with only 768. When Book 1 launched in 2007, the gaming scene was very different than it is now. There were no tablets or smartphones back then. Computer displays were predominately 4:3 CRTs, and even the few LCDs that were available w...

Re: Engine ?
Some of the regulars around here have been asking about open-sourcing the engine for some time. I guess it couldn't hurt to ask again now. I'm still not saying no forever ...but, I think open-sourcing will need to wait until a bit longer. We've had a small surge in sales and interest in the game si...

Re: Welcome to the new Website!
Game is now free on Steam! Uninstalling the game will make it disappear from your account library though which is a minor annoyance but this is out of our control.
