Help remembering an RPG name?
This was probably in the mid to late 90's
The basic game was free but you could other episodes for 5 or 6 dollars......One of the first places you went was a hall leading to a library...
This game was an indie game and it was quite complicated...Dying a lot.......

Re: Avernum 1.0.1 ~ my old friend
I like Avernum and its one of the great rpgs. The only problem I have is that I never finish any of the games in this century. The games are just too long for me and I get bored and stopped playing. Fallout 3...Not what I expected..
Hi Just started playing it a few hours ago and doesn't really show what I expect in an rpg...It seem,s to be mostly a FPS with a lot of searching around,,Is it even worth playing? I got the stategy guide but oh well. I like a lot of playing with character attributes and this one seems limited..anyon...

Re: The Witcher
I tried to play it. It is too cinematic for my taste- the game seems to focus more on eloquent ways to behead your enemies, and not so much on stats and character development. Yep. That was my opinion too. Only played it enough to get disgusted. I have The witcher 1.....didn't get far...The rolepla...
