Re: And yet more needs from me...
I just finished my 9th go round, this time with the new mods. And was so close to the end that I got carried away selling my stuff. I sold the danged ring from Edgar's vault before getting my loot and Bittersting. Can anyone tell me or help me get this ring back? I have a saved game right before he...

Re: Would you purchase the soundtrack if it was available?
I'd be in for something like $10 USD, though it might depend on the length. For a single album's worth of material, $10 is usual for digital-only stuff.

Re: Prefixes / Suffixes for special weapons/armor
Actually, Epic Intellectus I've seen from the weapon vendor in Macross Point. I believe that's +4 intelligence. Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that they were all modifiers that I hadn't seen - I'd say at least half were familiar to me. From my notes when I was looking into it, I know for sure that I'...

Prefixes / Suffixes for special weapons/armor
So I'd been digging around in the Eschalon binary to make sure I knew about all possible materials on items, and noticed that there seems to be a bunch of special prefixes for weapons/armor which don't actually appear in-game. Or at least, there's a bunch I don't remember seeing, anyway. So, here's ...

Re: Grammar and Spelling Mistakes - Part I
Hey there - one more potential hard-coded typo might be the use of a "smart" apostrophe in the title of "A Bar Brawler's Guide." All the other apostrophes used in items are regular ASCII apostrophes, but the one in A Bar Brawler's Guide is of the sort very commonly found on Windo...

Re: Filling containers
These two should be considered "typos"/"bugs" (the second one definitely is...). But the first one (the "A Bar Brawler's Guide" one) should be considered a "typo"/"bug" too - hopefully someone can pass this along to PM (or SS), if they haven't disco...

Re: Filling containers
So, after some more experimentation, I've confirmed that for global map files, the only valid items you can specify are what's exactly written inside general_items.csv. I don't think that's been generally shared here, so I've uploaded it on my site (I assume that BW won't mind) - http://apocalyptech...

Re: Filling containers
I actually tried "Raven's Heart". Came up widget(Raven's Heart). I will try some of the others and see what I get. Thanks Tried others and they do the same.... widget(plumpcot), picture is the widget gear for all. This must be a default. Both "Raven's Heart" and "Plumpcot&q...

Re: Filling containers
Yes these are global maps. Sounds like I would have to create different map type and save into slot areas to get individual items listed. Hoping there will be an addition to add this functionality in the future. You should , certainly, be able to specify quite a few items in global map containers a...

Re: Filling containers
On the macOS version of the utilities containers do not get the clickable edit for entering items. There is just a line to enter text and although "random" works no other object title works, it just comes up Widget. When I go and look at other maps the clickable edit line is there. Is thi...

Re: More questions that might be spoilers... please help
Well, I am old and maybe losing my memory at times but wasn't touching the gate what activated the code lock window? That is what I recall. I haven't entered a code since 2 days ago trying to fathom the clue, but when I touch the gate now, nothing happens, just cold stone... Ah, no - I just checked...

Re: More questions that might be spoilers... please help
I was back at the temple gateway but now have no "code" entry any more. Is there a limit on how many times before it never appears again? You actually should only have to put in the code once, and then the necessary stuff should remain open for the rest of the game. Is there some area tha...

Re: More questions that might be spoilers... please help
I'd assumed it was a question relating to this mod, which features both a code and a riddle of sorts to figure out the code. :)Calathon wrote:Moonrise Temple code? Tricky riddle? Did I miss something? Could someone please enlighten me?

Re: More questions that might be spoilers... please help
1.) What actually does the potion "keensight" do for a wizard? Keensight enhances your ToHit rating, which is actually most useful for characters using physical means of attack. It actually wouldn't do much for a Wizard who attacks via primarily magical means. 3.) If I choose Preset locks...

Re: Semi-official bug tracking thread (SPOILERS)
I think someone else reported this issue in one of the OS-specific 'bugs' forums - but, yeah, "s" is supposed to bring up the Character Stats window, and I think it's wrong in the general.cfg file where it's listed as "z" (and "z", as you said, is supposed to bring up ...
